“A Favorite Get-away!”

Blacksmith Inn on the Shore in Bailey's Harbour is one of our favorite places to spend a quiet, romantic weekend. The Innkeepers Brian and Joan are fantastic! We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Blacksmith Inn. The inn is rustic, but still elegant. There are antiques everywhere, but they are so well placed that nothing seems cluttered or tacky. Simply amazing! Great room, great view, delicious breakfast. Walking distance to some restaurants and harbor. Room one has full view of harbor. Bird watching a plus. Cross-country clause by. Great romantic get away.

My husband and I have been here twice, and we'll be back. The rooms were decorated well and quite comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and changed every day. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Highly recomend.

“many extras make a worthy indulgence”

If you love historic inns, but not Victorian "frufru," The Blacksmith Inn On the Shore is a wonderful treat/ retreat. I always love having a water view. Our room had a nice balcony with chairs overlooking Lake Michigan. The architects/ decorator did a fantastic job keeping a rustic look with ALL the modern amenities.
