Chef Tim and his lovely wife Melanie have created a unique five star experience in the heart of West Virginia. The Inn is just perfect, offering a historic feel and leaving you feeling like you are in their home. I haven't slept as well as I did at Cafe Cimino Country Inn that night thanks to the amazing bed and... More

On Sunday, October 30, 2011, my wife and lodged at the Café Cimino Country Inn. We were returning home from the Washington, D.C., area and diverted there because we were intrigued by the uniqueness of this establishment. In addition to being a bed & breakfast, this facility includes a professional restaurant that is open to the public as well as... More

My husband and I have stopped at Cafe Cimino Country Inn many times for dinner, but decided to stop for the night on our travels north. We stayed in the Benjamin Room in the Carriage House. The room is nicely decorated and very comfortable. I loved the rich plum colored walls and thick bedding. Our room overlooked the Inn's yard... More

We wanted a weekend away and I booked us a night at the b&b as well as an hour with the Chef Tim Urbanic as he discussed the efforts he has made to serve quality foods with local origins as much as possible. On the forefront of this local foods trend, he prepares dishes that are superbly presented and deliciously... More

Wow! Thank you so much for 1.) being such a good writer, and 2.) understanding and communicating what Chef Tim is doing here at Cafe Cimino Country Inn. We are so pleased that you, being the obvious "foodies" that you are, enjoyed your dinner, your talk with the Chef and your overnight stay! Thanks so much for making the effort... More

Sutton, WV may be in the middle of nowhere, this the Cafe Cimino is a diamond in the rough! A wonderfully restored century-old farmhouse and outbuildings, it is prefect for a B&B. Hosts Meoldy and Jim (and their golden retriever Maggie-May) are charming! We stayed in the Annabella room, which had its own balcony overlooking the Elk river - very... More

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon on a canoe fishing on the Elk river (canoewv.com) with a gourmet picnic packed by the folks at Cafe Cimino. We stayed in the Logan room which has a fabulous clawfoot tub (bubble bath & robe provided)! The food (we had both dinner & breakfast the following morning) was a delicious experience!! It was a... We were so delighted to find this place! We stayed in the Maggie May room and spent the evening on the little balcony overlooking the river. The breakfasts and dinners were fabulous and since no one else was there, it was all for us! More

The Cafe Cimino Country Inn was a beautiful treasure we discovered completely by accident! We were on the first day of our honeymoon traveling north to tour the New England states when we had to make a bathroom stop. Some locals were talking about the cozy little inn and how delicious the food was, they even mentioned live entertainment. We... More

I am just back from another wonderful visit with Tim and Melody Urbanic in their beautiful and sublimely comfortable bed and breakfast, Cafe Cimino Country Inn. Not only do you drive through exquisite and mostly-untouched mountain scenery, but you wind up overlooking a meandering creek. Chef Tim is renowned for his fresh and locally sourced menus; he now has his... More
