This motel is very old and the room shows its age. There was a tile missing from the bathroom wall and a couple of small stains on the carpet. However, the room was very clean and the employees were friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

We went to visit friends in Elkins during the Mountain State Forest Festival. We stayed in the 2-story builing at the top of the hill for 4 nights. The staff were friendly & helpful, the room was clean & quiet, everyone enjoyed their dinner at the 1863 Tavern.
