The Charleston Embassy Suites is an attractive, clean, comfortable property. The location, in the center of town is good. There are lots of walkable activities, shopping and restaurants nearby. The suite has a separate living room with pullout couch, minifridge, coffee and microwave. The free breakfast was fair, You can order a custom omelet, which I didn't do. Those are... More

Stayed at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, WV for a business trip. The hotel's layout and guest rooms were carbon copies of the only two Embassy Suites I've stayed in before (Atlanta, GA and Raleigh, NC) which I think is a good thing; know what to expect. The room was clean and functional with a mini-kitchen area and bathroom that... More

Clean rooms, great breakfast, in walking distance to all attractions. Great value considering buffet breakfast and cocktail reception in the evening. Plenty of room for 6 people. Hard working staff.

as many have stated, a nice typical Embassy. Only a couple little things that kept me from rating with 5 stars. one, I was charged for parking even though I didn't have a car as I travelled with a colleague. they never asked, just assumed I had a car and thus the charge. I talked to front desk at checkout... More

We stayed 2nd-5th May at the Embassy Suites and must say were overall very happy. Let's look at the positives: -Parking is not so much of a problem as others in the forum have made out. If the parking out front is full, you go round the corner and park in the parkade- your room key gives you access, so... More

Dear pafuri, I want to thank you for your honest evaluation of your recent stay at the Embassy Suites. I want to assure you that your "niggles" are being taken very seriously and that without such constructive comments we would not be able to improve in the guests eyes. I hope that you will consider staying again if your travels... More

We have stayed at a variety of Embassy Suites over the years, and enjoy the consistant room layout, cleanliness, and buffet breakfast. The in-room coffee, as well as the buffet coffee, could be much better, however, but there is a Starbucks not too far. Also, for the price, parking and wireless access should be included, but isn't. These are not... More

This is a nice, typical Embassy Suites hotel. I stayed here back in October 2011 and really liked it and would stay here again in the future. Rooms are spacious, staff friendly. Parking is not as convenient as I would like, but it was managable. Parking in the front is very limited and the other parking option is in the... More

I have had a room booked at this hotel for several months now, just called to change my reservation by one day and they will not honor the rate that was quoted to me initially as a matter of fact the rate has increased from $119/night to $249 per night. I'm sorry, I have stayed in several $300 a night... More

Dear Kim B, Thank you for taking the time to write and I appreciate your comments, please understand that when you reserve a rate months in advance and then change that reservation at the last moment it is not unusual that room type and rate availability would have changed. Often special rates may be available 30 or 60 days in... More

I stayed in the Embassy Suites Charleston on business and had a excellent experience. The hotel building was nice and so was my room. The best part of my experience was the courteous staff and the flexibility of the manager who was able to accommodate a unique situation that I had. I dont think I will ever stay anywhere else... Our suite was clean and inviting. I didn't like the shower because it seemed awkward to have to step in to turn on the water. I prefer a tub/shower combination. Hard to sleep--pretty noisy above us. Breakfast was great!

Dear Zebra71, Thank you for taking the time to write and tell us about your experience here at the hotel.
