This campground is very peaceful. We enjoyed the close proximity of the river, walking areas and lack of traffic sounds. Just up the road a small walk is a Very nice grocery and gas station. We'd come again!

We went here when visiting Winthrop and everything was excellent. We checked in late, set up camp on green grass (sprinklers have to run all the time to provide this but also keeps the dust down), the washrooms were clean and accessible and the showeres were clean and hot. My family and I went a few weekends ago and had a great time. This is by far the nicest campground I've ever been to. We stayed in a camping cabin, which was very comfortable. They have a nice little pool, amazing bathrooms, the grounds are green and well kept, great view of the river, etc. We'll be going back... More

We are taking our third trip to this campground in July. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The campground is clean and relaxing. Last time we tubed about 10 miles down from the red barn. It was fun!!!

Nice place with new bathrooms and showers. Stayed in 2 room cabin this time, and it was nice and clean. I've been staying at this camp for years, but it seems that the prices are getting higher and higher. You can go to a state park and get full hookups for the price of a tent spot here.

The people here taking reservations are VERY accommodating with my large group (6+ cabins plus campsites) every year. The cabins are REALLY clean--I have never, ever seen a spider in one. The mattresses are sturdy and newer and some of the cabins have ceiling fans--ask about those! The new log bathrooms at the end of the campground are especially nice--bathroom... More
