I stay here regularly (once per month) on business. It is my favorite place to stay in Spokane. I find it to be an unbelievable value. The hotel has been totally refurbished in recent years, yet retains its historic feel. The rooms and great and the beds are very comfortable. The martinis in the Peacock Lounge are excellent. Can't say... More

I was trying to book a hotel room in downtown Spokane on fairly short notice, as we decided to see their Lilac Festival Torchlight Parade (held on the third Saturday in May each year). I called the Hotel Lusso (which is related to the Davenport) and they told me they had rooms in their "historic" hotel or in the Davenport... More

The lobby is gorgeous. Whether staying or just hanging out in the common areas, this property is a gem. Every year the Spokane Symphony has a holiday tree benefit. It's one of the best times to see the hotel. The bar has a dropped stained glass ceiling with a giant peacock.

We stayed at the Davenport for a wedding. My husband's cousin was getting married there. Overall the place is lovely. The staff is friendly and tries to help you. The rooms were clean and really large. Not my taste in furniture but appears to be in the style of the era the hotel wants to be. My mother in law... More

My wife & I checked in last Saturday afternoon, received our key cards and got into the elevator to go to our floor. I punched 4 and nothing happened, Another gentleman got in with us and punched 10. Nothing happened so we got out of the elevator, thinking that the elevator was not working. The door closed and we pushed... More

We were visiting from Florida and was taken through the hotel as we enjoyed the city. My Uncle has stayed here before and told us it is a must see even if you do not stay and boy was he right! The hotel is nothing short of amazing!!! From the floors to the ceiling everything is just jaw dropping! We... More

The Davenport is THE place to stay if you are looking for luxurious accomodations in Spokane. The hotel has an amazing spa, cocktail lounge and restaurant all with excellent service. There is no need to set foot outside as the hotel contains almost anything you could desire, including a flower shop! It is a great location for a romantic occasion... More

Everything is for sale here, from the beds (yes, the beds), to the peanut brittle at your bedside. It's a continual sales pitch and the whole thing just feels, odd. The room and view are OK -- view from other hotels is much better at much less expense. Getting to the parking garage requires supercharged GPS thanx to the wonderful... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at our hotel. I feel poorly that your experience in the hotel was less than satisfying. In response to your observation that everything seems to be for sale here, much of this comes from the numerous requests we consistently get from our guests to offer the items that they see... More

Too many hotel reviews overlook one vital thing--the comfort of the beds. Granted, that could be in the eye (or back) of the beholder, since different people like different kinds of beds. Still, it would be hard for me to imagine someone who didn't like the ones at the Davenport. They were soft but not too soft. Supportive without being... More

If you want to be treated like Royalty this is the place to stay. It has an elegant but homey atmoshphere. The architecture is amazing and the history of the hotel is displayed all over the lobby and second floor. The Hall of Doges is something to witness: just imagine all the presidents and celebrities who have dined under the... More
