The hotel is beside beautiful Lake Quinalt. It consists of a mixture of housekeeping type cabins and more traditional hotel-motel type rooms. There are lovely views in every direction, with both easy and challenging walks in a beautiful rainforest, and quiet spaces to just enjoy. The people at the resort are very nice, extremely helpful, and the restaurant has very... More

I think this hotel has a lot going for it, chief among these, the superior lakeside location, also close to 2 champion trees, some great family friendly trails leading into the lush rain forest and to modest but still lovely waterfalls. The mercantile / reception area is well stocked with sundries (groceries, toiletries, wine & beer and souvenirs). The adjacent... More

Thank you for your review. We are delighted you found our location on the shores of Lake Quinault to be superior, and that you enjoyed hiking the many trails in our area. We are also glad you found our store to be fully stocked with everything you needed. We were thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the menu offered at... More

We arrived at the resort just before dusk on Friday of New Years Eve weekend. We were hoping to find a quiet place to restore our spirits and we weren't disappointed. The cabin we checked into had all the nostalgia of the past, rustic, yet perfectly maintained. That night we fell asleep in a dreamy bed listening to sounds reminiscent... More

Terrible value for your money. I almost preferred staying in my car for what we got. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the rooms of the village inn last most and did not have the best experience. That night, the water backed up into the SHOWER!!! It was the most disgusting thing I’ve seen in years. You kind... More

We were traveling between Astoria and Port Angles when we saw the sign telling of the giant spruce tree to the right. Having a little time to kill we turned off the main highway and fell pin love. This is a beautiful lake and we were fortunate enough to be able to get a room at the village. The rooms... More

The view was stunning from our second floor lake view room! I turned the chair around at the big picture window to sit and watch the beautiful sunset on the lake. Earlier in the day, several sailboats were out on the water. The check-in was very smooth and friendly at the little store in the village. The price was reasonable.... More

This is a best kept secret that I almost hate to review publicly. The price is great, the view is exceptional the service/staff over the top friendly. We stayed at the Village Inn with one queen bed bedroom on the back side and a living room with pull out couch on the lake side. And a balcony. Free ice is... More

Friendly, helpful staff. When reserving I had asked for & received an upstairs room, which I recommend so you have an unencumbered view of very pretty Lake Quinault. The room was a little small, but had a love seat, chair, comfortable bed. The sink didn't drain well & only 4 channels on the satellite tv, but we weren't there for... More

We were looking for a room for the night and at first drove through this resort, thinking it was too dated. When we went, back we were offered a cabin, with view over the lake. Ok, it was not new, but had all the facilities in the cabin we needed, with a neat balcony. The shop was actually much better... More

We were booked to stay in the motel section, but upgraded to a cottage when we arrived. It was very simple, bordering on scruffy, and the "fireplace" was a tiny space in the wall with a couple of gas logs. The carpet and bedlinens did not feel clean, and the furniture was beat-up. The location by the lake is lovely,... More
