My husband and I stayed here and it was okay. Bathroom door did not shut and bed and bedding very uncomfortable. Kinda on the cheap side, not very "cabin" feeling, more like a motel 8 or something. If they tell you to eat at the Salmon House in front of them......DON'T, it's terrible...possible kick back? Rates are reasonable for hotel... More

We stayed on the second floor of the motel and had a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. The location is great on the South Shore Road which has the most beautiful scenery on the lake and all of the waterfalls. The bathroom was small but serviceable and the room was clean. Staff was friendly----no phones in the room... More

My daughter and I were on our way back from California when I took a wrong turn in Aberdeen, Wa. I found myself near Lake Quinault and needed gas so I turned when I found a sign that said GAS ---->. I gassed up, but it was late, so heeding the advertisement for this resort, I walked into the small... More

We spent one night in cabin #18 and wished we had reserved for a longer period. The cabin is old but nicely furnished, with a pleasant fireplace to enjoy. The view on the lake is spectacular with many birds to watch. Don't forget your binoculars. The resort is very well situated next to the lake with easy access to many... More

We stayed two night in motel part just on the other side of the small road from the main building. A huge winow towards the lake was nice but staying on the ground floor you had to draw the curtains at night. Ask for the second floor. Rooms were OK, rather small but clean. The restaurant and the bar were... More

Brrrrrr! If you happen to be traveling in the area for a late autumn visit, this inn is not the place to be. No heater and the upstairs rooms are drafty. The scenic views of the lake are great. While it is less expensive than the resort down the street, the lodgings were not quite what I had expected. One... More

I wish I could stay longer - it was that good! First, I really liked the room (queen, in motel building) - it was comfortable & well equipped for rest. We had the room facing lake and what a gorgeous view it was! Window takes two thirds of the wall and provides a great lake view. Nearby attractions are general... More

Our stay here was terrific. The fourplex where we stayed had a great bed and a great large sized jetted tub - what else do you need. The area is beautiful and all the 1000 year old trees are amazing. There were only a couple of restaurants in the area but that cut down on the decision making. The staff... More

Stayed here for one night while travelling around Olympic NP. The location in Quinault is beautiful and there really isn't much else to do there which also means they barely have competition ... and one can tell. Charging 142 dollars for a really not very fancy room with overall outdated, worn and just wear-and-tear beds, chairs etc. Not good. The... More

We have spent a fair amount of time on the Olympic Peninsula but this was our first time to Lake Quinault. The Rain Forest Resort Village is really not a resort but rather a collection of cabins and buildings situated on the shores of Lake Quinault. Nothing fancy, a little rustic but with great views/access to the lake. We stayed... More
