The Lake Quinault Lodge is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The lack of telephones and televisions only enhances the experience. The large open area in the main lodge which is accentuated by a large active fireplace promotes both interaction between guests and a relaxing view of the lake. On this my second... More

As the title implies, the views and the scenery around this location are outstanding. Quiet and peaceful. The rooms or at least the room we stayed (226) needs some needed rehabbing. I'm going to switch between pro's and con's in this review. When you first enter the room the first thing you realize is the enormous room you have and... More

Very nice stay in this classic lodge. Perhaps the highlight of our trip was the Rain Forest Tour led by a retired park ranger. His depth of knowledge, local history, and ability to answer nearly any questions posed made this tour extraordinary. The lodge was nice, the rain forest tour even better.

Just such a privilege to be able to visit this outstanding location and stay within such an amazing and historic building. Loved the whole ambience of the Lodge and took some wonderful walks around the rain forest which was humbling. Menu and food could be improved but given the location, transport logistics and everything else this is a must place... More

Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Washington. It was just a cool place to be. We loved hanging out on the lawn and by the fireplace. The only downer was the lake wasn't open to boaters, so I couldn't go canoeing. We made up for it by hiking through the rain forest and along... More

The location is quite fabulous, with easy access to hiking trails and nature right outside your door. I have stayed in the fireplace suites and the lake rooms, rather than the actual lodge, in order to avoid sound issues with staying in the older lodge. Take advantage of the amazing activities, like the hike with interpreter Mary and the van... More

It's like being in an elegant movie...walking into, through and around Lake Quinault Lodge is, well, quite magical. it's quiet, the air is fresh and clean, the lodge immaculate, the bed was over the top nice, the lawns drew us all out to enjoy them. We had a bonfire on the beach that staff helped to build which was great.

The Lake Quinault Lodge was beautiful. We came for my 60th birthday and it was a real treat to spend the day on a rainforest tour with Roger, play games on the beautiful lawn overlooking the lake, warm by the massive fire, view birds as we ate dinner, and finally watch the bats (about 100) as they emerged in groups... First of all have to say that the location is simply stunning. Quite a good place for touring the peninsula. However ... be careful what you expect from the room choice. It's a "lodge" not a hotel, and the rooms in the motel-ish part are a bit basic, not as clean as would expect for the rest of the lodge,... More

Nice area and facilities, beautiful lawn and lake view, pool area was awesome but rooms were average. We stayed in the Boat house, could clearly hear neighbors and even a really loud barking dog hidden in a room next to ours. We loved everything about the area and lodge once out of the room, sunset on the lawn was beautiful,... More
