We did not stay at this B&B as the owners deemed our request for plain oatmeal served with some olive oil and decaf tea as unreasonable. If this is the type of sevice you expect then enjoy!!!

We spent 4 days there in August, and it couldn't have been better. The location is great--easy walking to the cute touristy Victorian downtown, and more imporant for us--the waterfront. The room was perfectly fine and clean, and the place has all the fundamentals of a good B&B, nice public areas, nice veranda, etc. What is different is the breakfast--it...

In spite of the positive review below, after staying here one night our experience was quite different. Our room was clean and cozy. The location was very close to down down and many activities. The food was delicious. The hospitality very poor, especially her. He introduced us to her after she returned to the inn. She didn't even acknowledge we...

Understandably, everyone has different perceptions and experiences life differently. So I clearly take TripAdvisor with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, the TripAdvisor system can make or break a small business and in the case of Ravenscroft Inn, I am certain, the negative reviews have impacted occupancy at this exceptional Inn. So I am writing to share my most recent experience...

When we visited Port Townsend this Inn was for sale - and needed to be. Clearly, the innkeepers (particularly the wife) had long since lost their love for the traveling public. Breakfast was fantastic, room and setting lovely, the other guests delightful, but we felt like intruders from the moment we entered the door....and you BETTER have your teacup back...

We booked this accommodation before setting off on a bike trip from Victoria BC to
LaConner, Washington. And I wish we hadn't. Read on:
Although we arrived an hour before check-in, the amenable host, who was outside doing chores, told us where we could leave our bikes and to knock on the door and his wife would let us put...

My husband and I stayed here in Aug. The house is nice looking from the outside, and the lobby areas on the ground floor were fine. We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms, which was a huge mistake as these rooms are in the basement and are quite depressing. I don't know if the more expensive rooms were nicer....

We arrived most excited for this stay. My husband and I had been traveling all over the area for our first Anniversary. Ravenscroft was supposed to be our "splurge" during our week long trip.
Upon arriving, we were greeted very warmly by Tim and Gay. We were shown around by Tim who gave us a rather long list of rules...

We spent one night in one of the inn's smaller rooms, but it was all we needed and more. The innkeepers are quite friendly, the food was delicious, including a special touch to accomodate our diet and the entire inn was spacious and clean. We will definitely be returning.
I was planning an impromptu trip to Port Townsend (I live just an hour south of there), so I quickly checked B&B availabilities in Port Townsend, and dropped in on a few of the inns once I got to town. Lucky for us, we scored a reasonably priced ($145) room in the lovely Ravenscroft Inn. I'm fairly picky too --...
