This place might be OK for families (perhaps in the cottages) but for a twosome, forget it. For a romantic weekend, forget it. We reserved a "King Suite" Room 505. So much fun. So much to do...... One draw back is this is only for Military or Federal employees. But alot of other places to stay for those who are not. At the military facility they have a 4 lane bowling alley, a mini theater showing recent films, resturant, bar, gift shop etc. The houses, they call cabins(?) are wonderful.... More

Pacific Beach Resort & Conference Center, an MWR facility, is located right on the ocean. It underwent a complete renovation in 2000-2001. The resort offers three and four bedroom cottages.
