We renewed our vows and stayed two nights here for our fifth anniversary. Our stay couldn't have been any better! We had a snafu with our pet-sitting arrangements and Sandy was so helpful in pointing us to a solution on the island (Eastsound Kennels, which is also great). We had a special little ceremony on the water's edge (Sandy officiated,... More

I hate to even write a review, because I'd like to keep this hidden gem all to myself. My husband and I spent our wedding night here along with two additional nights. The cabin was perfect. It was 'off the beaten path' so we could truely get away. Sandy officiated our wedding and Carl played guitar. They will always be... More

We did not stay at the Inn but wanted to review the Kayaking that was offered at Spring Bay. We weren't sure if we were going to have time or the right weather so we were only able to call the day we hoped to kayak and Spring Bay was completely accomodating and allowed us to be there within an... Our stay with Carl and Sandy was so educational and relaxing. We were greeted warmly by Carl showing his sincere care for our stay and inviting us to have warm refreshments he had finished baking. Our night was heavenly overlooking the bay water and watching the deer grazing in the yard. A breakfast awaited us on the landing with fresh... More

We agree with the rave reviews below. Sandy and Carl are superb hosts, they took care of every detail, they made kayaking fun for these two novices, and the food was as good as advertised. They were very helpful with candid advice on restaurants, hiking opportunities in the State Parks, and other items. Would go back again anytime!

The Spring Bay Inn provided my wife and I a wonderful escape. It is of the finest establishments there is to find, especially in the San Juans. Carl and Sandy are exceptional people and are only too happy to make your stay at SBI one never to forget. Of the 5 rooms, we stayed in the forest room. It is... More

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this Bed and Breakfast. The owners were so friendly and full of information - and their guided kayaking trips in the morning are so much fun. The property itself is just gorgeous - we stayed in the "Ocean" room and were very comfortable. We would recommend a stay here to anyone!

Our first bed and breakfast.....we loved it. We are reluctant to try another because the Spring Bay Inn would be so hard to beat. The hosts of the inn are very knowledgeable and hospitable. The food was delicous, the scenery breathtaking, and the welcome warm. We are looking forward to visiting again.

What a perfect spot to relax. If a waterfront view through tall Douglas fir trees sounds heavenly, then this is the place for you. We tied a visit to Orcas Island to the end of our Alaskan cruise, and it turned out to be the perfect ending. Owners, Sandy & Carl do all they can to bring the best experiences... More

The Spring Bay Inn is just one of those places that no matter how much time you spend there, you just don't wanna leave when it's time to go. Everything about the place -- from the incredible hospitality and down to earth nature of hosts Carl and Sandy to the great kayak trips to the super-friendly golden retrievers Rusty and... More
