This place was awesome for our family!!! We got a corner suite on the 3rd floor with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living area, dining area, fireplace, & balcony. And it was perfect! The 3 kids were in 1 bedroom with 2 queen size beds & half bath. Hubby & I in other. The place was the size of a regular apt. The... More

Yep, the decor is outdated. But this resort at the end of the "strip" was just fine for a weekend. We booked the 2-bedroom on a corner (#309). Corner windows were terrific and the view awesome. Fireplace and kitchen (pretty good size) were welcomed features. The price was right! Staff was really nice and dealt with 1,000 kids running all... More

20 of us just returned from a stay at The Polynesian. We were there celebrating my in-laws 30th wedding anniversary. We chose this resort because it is the exact spot where my father in law proposed to my mother in law so many years ago. The staff was friendly and upon check in, we were informed that Kurt Cobain once... More

This is our favorite place to stay in Ocean Shores. Like most of the hotels there, it is a little dated, but reminds me of my childhood as a result, so I embrace it. If you want modern, go to Seattle or Cannon Beach. Ocean Shores is all about family, board games, and ocean churning storms. When I first came... More

This has been a family institution of ours since childhood. Whenever we go to the ocean, we always stay here. The rooms are simple but homey. They also allow pets so we can bring our dog. The beach is a short walk out the back of the hotel which is great. They have a lot of amenities - pool, pool... More

We spent New Year's weekend with our group of friends at the Polynesian. The staff are helpful, friendly and plentiful. The property is a bit dated, but very clean and in good repair. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was just big enough for 9 of us to gather comfortably. The regular hotel rooms were basic, clean and functional.... More

The Polynesian is a potentially good value with a great location, a very heated pool, and satisfactory room sizes. However, it is not in the least bit luxurious. Appliances, TVs, and most furnishings are out of date and cheap looking. The free breakfast is pathetic with no eggs, bacon, or protein of any kind really. It has a casual atmosphere... More

Wow! It was a pleasure to spend 3 days here! Great view of the beach with easy acess paths, beautiful deer eating out of our hands, SPACIOUS, super clean, fabulous restaurant, nice pool, private family park, fireplaces and nicely furnished kitchens, movies, two TV's-----TOTAL home comforts away from home! The entire staff was efficient, accomodating and like family----both laid back... More

we enjoyed a very short stay here (1 night) with our dog. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was a bit dated but very clean. There is super easy access to the beach, our pup loved running on the trail through the sand dunes! The continental breakfast was nicely presented, it was a treat to find some fresh... More

This resort is a little dated, but we loved the overall feel and it was clean. The room was large and the full kitchen was great. We enjoyed having a separate bedroom from the kids. The indoor pool and hot tub was nice and kept clean. There was a gameroom that the kids enjoyed. We will book this hotel again... More
