Is it the Four Seasons? No freaken' way. But, if you find yourself in Metaline Falls, prepping to cross the border into BC to do some awesome skiing, you won't find a more down-to-earth, genuine, customer focused motel. We got in late, and Josh kept the light on for us. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.... More

We were in Metaline Falls to spend the night so we could ride the Lions Club Excursion Train fall foliage tour in Ione (10 miles away). It exceeded our expectations! First off, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is also a tackle/hunting/camping store, which added to the uniqueness of our stay. My son-in-law purchased two interesting hunting... What a surprise in the middle of nowhere. We were heading to Canada and ended up in the Metaline Falls area late at night. I was wondering what kind of motel would be in that area and we were recommended to the Circle Motel. It didn’t look that great from the outside but the rooms are comfortable (including the bed... We stayed here after a long day of riding. We rode along highway 20 from Burlington to Metaline Falls. We drove into town but could not find anywhere to stay as it was the long weekend and the only other hotel was full. Facing a long ride up to the border and into BC, we were very happy to see... A group of 8 of us were on a bicycle trip on the Selkirk Loop. We made these reservations ahead of time, using previous Trip Advisor comments to help us. We thought it a joke,"bait &tackle shop and motel". It turned out to be the perfect place for our group. The owner was very sweet , she even gave us... More

This is a great, little motel not too far out of town and an easy find. The room was clean, they brought us an extra towel right away as there were three of us. There was a mini fridge, nice TV and DVD player. The air conditioner worked great. We had a very peaceful and quiet night of sleep. They... More

First off, rating is based on this class of motel. For an older, independent, small motel in an out of the way place, the Circle Motel was very good. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, pillow top mattress with a nice, heavy comforter. The rooms are older, but... More

This was my second time to stay at the Circle Motel. Myself and my wife love to backpack and after a 2 or 3 day hike, we love to come spend the night in a comfortable bed. The rooms are very clean and spotless, and we love a nice long shower after our hikes. The staff is always helpful with... More

We were trying to cross into Canada for a skiing trip only to find that the border crossing closed at midnight (we arrived at 12:07 a.m.). Ever heard of the US/Canada border closing? Me neither. Well, with a blizzard raging our driving speed was about 15mph and we started backtracking south, hoping to find something. We came upon this place... More

This place is near Gardner Cave, Crawford State Park and Boundary Dam as well as along the Selkirk Loop (nice driving Loop). The place is a bit old, but excellent service and very, very clean. My requirements for a place center on the cleanliness of a place and this passed with flying colors. The bed also was new and very... More
