We are presently staying there with my brother and his wife, and we are so enjoying everything about it! We live in Florida, and to be lucky enough to have perfect weather on the Washington Coast is a miracle in itself. Make sure you plan for dinner at the Shelburne Inn, as it is excellent. We would highly recommend it!

The location is great. On a clear day (which we enjoyed) you can see the Coast range in Oregon. The furnishings are beautiful, yet homey. I loved waking up and looking out the windows at the birds and the water. It is very peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone.

Obviously the inn keepers paid serious attention to what guests might need or want: lavender soap next to the whirlpool tub, high grade knives in a kitchen drawer, easy chairs facing lovely, peaceful, gently changing tide flats, tastefully chosen furniture...all betray the sensitive and intelligent and creative minds of the hosts.
