Beautiful property, lovely furnishings, warm and friendly atmosphere, the breakfast was delicious and conversation lively and informative. A great place to get away from it all and enjoy the charm of life in the country with spectacular views of Mt. Hood out the window.

I have stayed at many, many B&Bs across the country. Husum Highlands gets a "2.5 Stars" from me overall. It was a "5" in some ways. The hosts are warm, friendly, and caring. The house and rooms are comfortable and charming. The breakfasts are wonderful. The scenery is spectacular. My room looked out on the waterfall - I kept my window open so I could hear it. The weekend was wonderful!

I highly reccomend this place. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the scenery is second to none. Jerry and Carol were very welcoming. You won't be dissappointed.

Sweetie and I booked two nights of a holiday weekend as a romantic getaway from Portland. Proposed on top of "Sleeping Beauty" mountain, with views of three volcanos. Had a great time at Husum Highlands, which is a lovely spot, gracious hosts, beautiful bedroom with perhaps the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in.

Husum Highlands is a very nice B&B. I think it's funny what some people complain about. I enjoyed the fact that there were no locks on the doors. Someone complained that the soaps and shampoos were big bottles that were shared. I enjoyed this too. Let's keep those small shampoo containers out of our landfills.
