Our stay at Kalaloch was very good; the staff was very kind and helpful, and the cabins, though they don't look like much from the outside, were beautiful and cozy on the inside! Looks like a great place to bring your family or to just have a romantic weekend. It was also wonderful to have the small mercantile shop on... More

We stayed in a cabin with a view of the ocean. It was spotless, well appointed, comfortable, and cozy. The daily firewood made it easy to enjoy the fireplace. We were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the food in the restaurant - the prices reflect top quality food and a chef's touch. We had several meals there and... More

A++ for location. Rooms are a bit overpriced for what is offered. You pay for the price! That being said, the rooms were clean and maintained.

We had a room in the main building, which had nice sea view and was spacious but not cosy. The common room as well was not very inviting, but alright. I liked the restaurant, the staff was very friendly and the food good. They also do packed lunch, but it's a bit expensive, $13 for a medium sized sandwich, an... More

We have stayed at Kalaloch many times over the last 25 years and have always had a wonderful experience. Each stay had been in one of the cabins. If you're looking for a 5 star resort with fancy rooms and fancy cabins go somewhere else. If you're looking for a spot to sunbathe and frolic in the surf, go somewhere... More

We have stayed in the cabins a handful of times. They are situated on a bluff above beach and ocean. It is a short walk down to a sandy, driftwood covered beach that goes on for miles. Come out here is you want to get away and enjoy the great natural surroundings of the coast without the need for TV... More

staying in the cabins on the bluff of the west coast is a treat to say the least...I could hear the waves all night...and the wind blowing through the trees...the view is vast and exquisite...right in the center of the beautiful Olympic National Park and just off of highway 101...it is an excellent location for many activities on the beaches... You might think every room/cabin has view. They don't. Some are obstructed by the other cabins. Luckily, we were there mid-week and were able to move to a bluff cabin that had a view. Beyond the view and ability to walk down to the beach, there's really not a ton of charm here or things to do nearby. If you... More

You are really out there - on the wild North Pacific Coast - when you stay at Kalaloch Lodge. This is at least my 5th stay here over the years - partial view cabin, and as others have said, the view is just fine! Steps to the beach (though you do need to scramble over a pretty big pile of... More

We have been to Kalaloch many times (we live 2 hrs. away) and always stay in the log cabins. They are very rustic, and with minimal kitchen amenities. We always take our own electric fry pan, as the tiny tiny stove top burners with wobbly pans don't do the job. I suppose the lodge would like you to eat all... More
