I received a free weekend for this hotel. I read the previous reviews and decided my wife and I would go anyway as we can usually make the best of whatever problems should come our way. We were skeptical of the fact that it could not be as bad as some reviews made it sound. Boy was I wrong! Upon... More

I have low standards for hotels. I don't need room service, I don't care if the carpets not vacuumed, and restrooms have to be pretty disgusting for me to complain about them. That said, things I won't tolerate are mold, bugs/bedbugs, and beds covered in filth left behind from the people who were there before me. This hotel had all... More

When we arrived, we were given our room promptly. However, when we actually went to the room, we discovered it was dirty. The nightstand was sticky as if someone had spilled something on it, the refrigerator had ice cream spilled in the freezer, and the air conditioner was blowing only air, not cool air, air. I called the front desk... More

By far, THE WORST place EVER! The room was dirty, electrical outlets and wires hanging out of wall, and BUG INFESTED. Large bug (may have been dead cockroach) on floor and bug casing/shell in bed! Large yellow stain on bedsheet.Poor A/C. The pool was dirty and cloudy (so bad that you couldn't look down and see your legs or feet)!... More

Ok to begin. The seemingly 12 year old was foreign and almost impossible to understand. He sent me to my room and forgot to program key card. Room was extremely hot and a/c set on high blew out a weak breeze. Took 4 hrs to begin to cool down and 9 hrs to actually become comfortable. Oh and did I... More

The staff was friendly. The room wasn't the cleanest but I think it needed an update and was more old than dirty. I always travel with my own bed set and towels so that was not an issue. The ac was a little loud but cooled the room to an amazing temperature. Great location and good value for the money... More

The guy on the desk said ' give us a good review', and its easy enough to do so. This place is what you want it to be - clean, cheap and comfortable, with a friendly welcome. The area is a road full of eating-places, and its not far from Williamsburg's centre.

Older property, but rooms have been updated and are relatively clean (drink stain on nightstand may have been from maintenance visit after I checked in). Heat lamp in bathroom, as well as window with frosted glass. Windows that actually open to get fresh air. No remote control in room. Linens (towels/sheets) are thin, inexpensive variety. Biggest drawback -- train tracks... More

The good: 1. It was extremely cheap for those on a budget! This is one of the most important things to us so this is always a plus. It was 32 dollars (including tax) on hotels.com for a night. 2. Location is excellent. It is right in the center of tons of shoppes and restaurants. Locally centralized between Jamestown and... More
