The weather was raining, but the Inn was delightful and the food tasty. I was able to leave the window open and took a long nap. That was the best part of the trip. We also enjoyed visiting with the other guest.

We had a wonderful experience at the Williamsburg White House a few weeks back. The innkeepers, John and Debbie, were extremely nice and most helpful with recommendations for dinner, sights, etc. The house is beautifully and uniquely decorated, suitable for a visit to historic Williamsburg. Our room was very comfortable and of course, breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate...

My wife and I just had a wonderful eight day stay at this B&B. Debbie and John are gracious hosts. The gluten free breakfasts provided for my wife were in her words" DELICIOUS!!! Debbie and John even provided gluten free cookies for her with the evening treats. Our room the FDR Bed Chambers was excellent . I cannot say enough...

I was shocked to read the few negative reviews of the Whitehouse in Williamsburg, Virginia. From what planet do these people come?
We spent six (6) welcoming and friendly nights at the Whitehouse. We arrived a bit late, but were greeted by John Keane who immediately helped us with the several bags that we carrying. (It took two trips, but...

Mel and Judy,
Thank you so much the time you spent on reviewing our property! You are both such wonderful guests, we only wish we could clone you both and sit you in the JFK Library to speak with our guests. You make our job fun and we love accommodating guests who truly enjoy being here! We are glad you...

My wife and I stayed for four nights over Easter weekend, 2012. We were very warmly greeted upon arrival and were given several suggestions for dinner. Breakfasts were excellent with great conversation amongst the guests. The bantering between the hosts and guests added to the feeling of family during the stay.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during my R&R leave from the Middle East. We found it to be a great respite and a welcome change from the impersonal service that is usually found at a hotel.
Upon arriving, we were greeted by name, and John assisted us in taking our luggage up to our room. We...

My husband and I arrived at 2:40pm and were brusquely told we could not come in. (Arrival time is strictly enforced, between 3pm and 6pm only.) It was a cold, blustery day but we were not invited to wait in the living room because it had not been vacuumed. Instead, we were handed brochures about what to do in Williamsburg...

Oh my Gosh! I am pretty taken back at your false and mean spirited review. If there was only a review site for innkeepers to write about guests, it would be so awesome. But since that doesn't exist, we will respond on this site.
Let me start by saying your statements are factually untrue and nothing bothers me more than...

There are several things to keep in mind not to do when staying at the White House in Williamsburg, VA. Do not come fifteen minutes to 3p.m. You will be turned away. Do not comment on how you are treated. Do not say you are staying for one not two nights. You have signed up for a tour that cannot...

Since this is the same couple that wrote the review above, I cannot even respond to the vindictive nature of the review. Our response is noted on the above review which clarifies the false accusations made by a very disgruntled person who basically couldn't check in 40 minutes before check in time and found it necessary to write 2 reviews...

The Williamsburg White House has an excellent location for a pedestrian visit of the old town, as well as for a driving visit to Jamestown andYorktown. Our arrival found the door locked and the hosts unavailable until 3pm ( we waited 15 minutes on a bench outside in the gardens). Not the best start! Our room, the FDR, was in...

Well, I have to thank you so much for your detailed review. We certainly always appreciate feedback and helpful suggestions. I do have to address a few of your issues. As you stated you did not get off to the best start because the "hosts" were not available until 3pm and you had to wait in the garden for 15...

The White House Bed and Breakfast in Williamsburg was a wonderful experience for my husband and I. It was our first time staying in Williamsburg, and we will indeed be back to stay again. The owners are gracious, inviting, wonderful people. We slept like babies, and woke to a hearty, scrumptious breakfast each morning that will keep you fully-energized for...
