We arrived late, and were to tired to care about the over all appearance. The hallways remind me of the shinning, but the bathrooms are nice. Bartenders were great. Melody makes an awesome latte. The staff were helpful. All-in-all the hotel rooms need a makeover, but the staff and location make up for it. Visit restaurant s outside the local... More

We had a business conference here last weekend. Came in Thursday(place was almost deserted),friendly folks at the front desk. Had King room on 4th floor--hallway reminded me of being on a cruise ship. Refrigerator didn't work,1 chair in room, although a floor lamp and space for a 2nd chair, refrigerator and microwave just sitting on the floor---have never seen that before, even in... More

Admittedly we booked this hotel because of an internet deal, but we were very pleased with our stay. The lobby was beautiful, the service was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. Our king bed was very comfortable. Our room was at the end of the corridor so it took awhile for the hot water to arrive and to... More

Considering the price, the hotel is a very good value. Nice location especially for Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburgh. The rooms are spacious and staff is nice. There is no free breakfast but that is a good excuse to try some pancakes at local restaurants.

I stayed here with my daughters' volleyball team recently. I agree with the other post that the Hotel was very accomodating to our needs. The rooms were clean, bed linens were nice, and the beds were really comfortable. I was shocked given the reasonable price how much the hotel had to offer. Had a wonderful fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool with... More

We booked this hotel when it was still considered a full service Marriott. Marriott dropped the hotel in the interim, but the hotel continued to honor reservations, so we stuck with them. We had made reservations both there and at Kingsmill for a college reunion weekend and were traveling with our three children. Upon being reassured repeatedly that we would... More

We visited with our volleyball team of 13-year-olds and this hotel was perfect for us. The rooms are very large, VERY nice beds and linens, nice bathrooms with quality toiletries. The front desk personnel were extremely nice. Excellent buffet breakfast, replenished regularly with tons of fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, etc., everything you could want and reasonable price in a lovely... More

I recently attended a conference which was at the conference center; it was my second time, and previously it was the Marriott. I did not think there were significant changes. My only complaint is that when I was making reservations for my lodging, they were in the process of making the transition from Marriott; I think I must have called... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for a military function and we found the hotel to be perfect for our needs. The pillow top beds were the highlight of our hotel stay, we were sad to leave. The complimentary Bath & Body Works products were a nice treat. Housekeeping maintained the room--My husband's only complaint was that they took... More

I stayed here with my 8 yo son while on spring break. We've stayed in this hotel many times before when it was a Marriott property. I was hesitant about booking when I noticed it was no longer a Marriott, but so glad I did. The hotel is clean, modern and well-appointed. Our king room was huge with a very... More
