This was the cheapest hotel that I found in Williamsburg where my dog was accepted, otherwise I would have stayed somewhere else. The corridors looked dirty and unkept and you could tell that the rooms were not very clean. The carpets and bed covers looked rather dirty and the beds were not Queen size but Double size, which made them... More

Just returned from Williamsburg for a short getaway trip. Booked here because of being dog-friendly & super-reasonable rates. Felt uncomfortable from the moment we drove up due to the property looking unkept. Asked for a ground floor room to make it easier for us which we received. However, people were outside our door drinking beer & being loud until the... More

I stayed here as part of a volleyball tournament. Check in was easy and the room was extremely clean and rather spacious. Round table and 2 chairs, vanity and sink outside the bathroom and another sink inside the bathroom. Outside sink's drain would not stay open and it was rather yucky with hair when I tried to pull it out.... More

It had everything you need to sleep and be somewhat comfy and clean. Even a donut and coffee in the morning and a pretty nice staff. I almost felt guilty we got a groupon deal and it was so CHEAP. A little drive to the park, but close to shopping and food and all the other chain hotels. But you... More

I was skeptical about the America's Best Value Inn, but at just $27/night I'm glad we didn't pass it up and go with one of the MANY expensive hotels surrounding historic Williamsburg. The hotel is just a quick 5 minute drive from the historic area - with the museums, the living history park, restaurants, merchant's square all just a few... More

This was one of those rare trips when I had to travel with a pet. So, on the upside, they allowed pets. But it ends there. The room was outdated and not clean. Put this in the category of "you get what you pay for." Next time, I'll board the dog and pay a little more to stay elsewhere. Sorry... More

It's good for a one night stop. It really needs updated. The free breakfast was worth it. The staff was wonderful and friendly no problems there

We sometimes travel to the williamsburg and virginia beach area a couple times a year. Many times we have gone without reservations for a room because we are not sure where we are going to stop. We had stayed at Americas Best Value before. The rooms are adequate, and usually clean. When we stopped there in april, we mentioned that we... More

This place is disgusting. Dirty rooms. Rude staff. And smelly. Toilet in my room was clogged from previous guests....or so I think maybe it was housekeeping who knows. Beds were not comfortable and there were people outside drinking beer till 4 am talking loudly. Got no sleep. I checked out after one night because it just sucked really bad. The... More

I stayed at this hotel on 07/31 thru 08/02. I booked in advance and was quoted by email that my total bill would run $152.10. I received my bank statement today (08/17/2011) only to find that I was charged $152.10 for one night and $146.10 for the second night. I was also charged $6.00 for a safe that I never... More
