Stayed here for the Shamrock marathon. It was between the finish line and the start line. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Close walk to the beach (half a block) and near some god restaurants. Will stay there again next year.

I booked this hotel with the only purpose to participate in the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon (March 17/2013). Location for this couldn't be better. It is more a motel, but with a good pair of ear plugs and eye mask you can get enough rest to be ready for the next day. Staff was very, very friendly and helpful.

While the Royal Clipper seems like a typical shore motel on the outside, the inside has the feel of a typical hotel. for the price is was clean and worked!! You actually could see the beach across the street. Easy to walk everywhere. What made it especially stand out to me is the manager. He really listened and if you had a concern he would do what he could to help. He really was very helpful and friendly.
