While this is truly a fantastic beachfront location and this is the only reason it gets a rating of two rather than one.
Firstly, the unit we stayed in was:
(a) dirty - cobwebs throughout the bathroom area, dirty toilet area, dirty linen on one of the beds.

Would never stay there again the rooms are very over priced Granmas old furniture to furnish the room Would not want to be fat you would not fit in th toilet Smeel mouldy Over charged us on a quoted price booking as well
This motel is virtually right on the beach... fantastic.
The owners are very friendly and helpful but unfortunately we found the units rather tired and in need of an upgrade and the housekeeping was definitely not up to scratch....and because of this we found the nightly rate charged rather expensive....it's as if the high rate was to justify the position...

My fokes went here a few years ago and recommended the place to us, so my girlfriend and I stayed here for one night on the way up to the Far North/ Cape Reinga.
It’s a hidden gem, really relaxing very comfortable, right on the beach, so the waves lull you to sleep at night.
