Upon checking in the staff seem friendly and informative. We stayed in the single bedroom villa which was clean, private, self contained and everything we needed. Unfortunately our car park for the villa wasn’t next to the villa itself and it was located about 20m away. Another rooms carpark was right next to our villa but no one parked there while we stayed which was a nice touch. There is no wifi here which was a tad disappointing but phone reception is good. During our stay the hot water pipes burst on the parks premises so we were without hot water for a couple hours but the issue was rectified before dinner. Can get a bit noisy with the works they are doing during the day with heavy machinery but good to see them improving their grounds and facilities. Communal washing machines and dryers are $6 a wash and $4 for dryer which is a bit steep. They can exchange cash for gold coins at reception. Regardless the location is a stone throw away from the beach, within a minute walk to the local foodmart, bottlo, pub, bakery and we would happily stay here again. See you guys next year.

After a month of travelling through Australia, we have several motels under our belt and found this spot just average. Bed was okay, sheets sounded like paper as you rolled over in bed. Keep bathroom door closed as outside light is so bright it will keep you up. Bore water to shower and wash dishes (one freshwater tap). No wifi, you can easily hear your neighbours. It is easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping.

Thank you for your feedback. Our park and facilities utilise artesian bore water where possible as, unlike metropolitan and other more populated areas, we have a limited supply of fresh water in Coral Bay, and this has to be shared with the whole community. The bore water is not recommended for drinking, however it is safe to wash in. We proudly provide clean and comfortable 3 star accommodation, located footsteps from the Ningaloo Reef, a world renowned 5 star destination.

Nice comfortable place, had a camper-van. Laundry is a bit expensive compared to other places can buy washing machine soap at the front desk. Facilities clean.
It poured down with rain while I was there, which was lovely in the van however the camp site did kinda flood a bit with pools of water, glad we weren’t in a tent however this is not the fault of the site. Coral bay doesn’t see a lot of rain.. also tours were cancelled at the desk, however still went with other companies

Hi Gstar0, We have had some rain lately, which is quite nice at times as you are correct in saying that Coral Bay doesn't usually see a lot of rain. The weather here is so beautiful 95% of the time. Perfect for enjoying the spectacular Ningaloo reef and bay. Thanks for posting your review and we hope to welcome you back another time (when the weather is beautiful with no rain).

There was absolutely nothing about this place we liked. The amenities.... where to begin? Cracked tiles everywhere in the shower cubicles, my toddler cut his foot on one and when reported to reception they didn’t seem to care. There was mould galore, calcium buildup, sand and cobwebs everywhere, splitting toilet doors and broken rusty hinges on the doors. We went to another toilet block which
appeared newer and there was a toilet in there that had skid marks inside the bowl for 3 days running which showed me they don’t clean regularly like the Covid regulations request. Again these toilets were disgusting and never saw anybody clean them. We were told when checking in that it’s now a good idea to hook up to the water as it’s salt and it’s only good for washing dishes. We had to walk a distance to get fresh water. Which wasn’t fun with two toddlers in tow. The first thing reception told us was there are no refunds if we don’t like it and want to leave which sent a few alarm bells ringing. Why would they say that to new arrivals unless they have had a lot of ppl
complain recently ?!

The kids playground wasn’t too bad except for the older teenagers left to run riot and knocking other ppls children over and not caring. I witnessed a few times parents asking other ppls children to be careful. We did find a smaller newer park further away which was great for the little ones.

Our first night in the park our elderly male neighbour rudely asked us to turn our dimmed outside caravan light off at 7pm. Which we did as we didn’t want to annoy him only to
realise later he had a brighter one on his van which was switched on all night and with our Annex angled down he couldn’t even see it from his van. Other surrounding camps has bright LED lights (which we didn’t care) bit we noticed he never said anything to them. We also had to listen to his loud opera music from 6pm-9pm. Thankfully we don’t mind opera but it would have annoyed others.

The sites weren’t very big and ppl were squished in. Tourists with large caravans struggles to reverse into
their sites. We came across of few ppl who also found the same issues as us. The park must be racking in the money as it’s fully booked right up to xmas so they should use some of the income to revamp the place. It’s extremely run down and dirty. I know staff are hard to come by due to
Covid but I’ve heard it’s been like this for years. Also why not utilise some of the grey nomads. We have come across parks that offer free van sites if they want to be cleaners for
A few hours each morning and clean the amenities. It works great as they really do a thorough job.

We won’t be back to this caravan park unless they do some serious renovations! I’d rather stay in Exmouth and drive down for the day.

Hi Amy, Thank you for taking the time to convey your feedback following your recent visit. We were disappointed to read your comments and that our park did not meet your expectations. We have a total of 8 ablution blocks spread throughout the park which our cleaners work very hard to keep clean. They are cleaned a minimum of 2 times every day and all of our staff have completed a Covid-19 Hygiene cleaning course. All products used are suitable to disinfect and sanitize to Covid-19 standards and regulations. I am very surprised by your comments regarding the cleanliness of our facilities as we constantly receive positive feedback from guests about how clean and well maintained they are. Some of our ablutions are earmarked for an upgrade, but given the current demand we are experiencing it is difficult to schedule a suitable time to complete the work without a disruption to our guests. I am sorry to hear that your son cut his foot and surprised that this was not reported to me by our staff. I will follow this up and apologize. Our friendly reception staff advise all guests at time of check in our park rules and advise them of our bulk fresh water fill if needed and our numerous fresh water taps located around the park. If you had let us know of your difficulty in getting fresh water one of our staff would have been happy to assist you at any time. I am glad to hear the children enjoyed our playground facilities. It is a very popular area with the children and they get much enjoyment out of it. With the State and International borders closed we, along with many other tourist parks in Western Australia are experiencing unprecedented demand and have been fully booked out which most people are very understanding about and realize that space is at a premium. All of our sites are regulation size and our great reservation team work hard to ensure everyone is allocated a suitable size site for their needs. We are fully staffed at the moment with all of our staff working hard to provide a pleasurable and enjoyable stay for our guests. We work hard to ensure guests enjoy their stay and I am sorry we were unable to turn your experience into a positive one. We believe that our location and facilities along with our commitment to continuous improvement, makes Ningaloo Coral Bay Bayview the ideal place to enjoy the beauty of the Ningaloo reef, magnificent beaches and bay. We greatly appreciate all feedback as it allows us to identify where we are doing well and where there may be room for improvement. I sincerely hope you choose to stay with us again one day so that you can experience the wonderful park that we believe we have.

My family and I love to holiday in Coral Bay - it's a favourite destination in Western Australia. This time around we stayed at the motel section of the Ningaloo Coral Bay Bayview Resort, which is located at the back of the resort. We had an upstairs room which had a good view over the resort and the bay/ocean. Although we were set back a bit from the bay, it was still well positioned. The motel has been upgraded since we stayed here several years ago, and so the rooms had a nice "modern" feel to them, even though the outside of the building is not much to look at. The room had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable and the room service/cleaning staff were very responsive to any requests for fresh towels etc. The motel is a "cheaper" alternative to many other room accommodation options in Coral Bay.

We enjoyed the caravan park - the location is very good - everything is close to the caravan park. The sites are small, but well looked after. The ablution block, camp kitchen and laundry are mostly kept clean with twice daily cleaning but they still can get a bit scappy and dirty. These blocks although equipped with everything are very old and tired. The staff camp at the rear of the property is not only an eyesore but technically should be condemned by council authorities as it is well and truly outside of council and government regulations. Some of the wiring to public use facilities is not only illegal but could cause serious injury or death.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the caravan park and are continually upgrading and improving our facilities for the enjoyment of our guests. Staff accommodation in Coral Bay is always an ongoing issue with a lot of complex bureaucratic red tape getting in the way of assisting us to upgrade staff facilities. I can assure you that all sites are fully compliant with council regulations. I was alarmed to read your comment regarding the wiring to public use facilities being illegal and dangerous as we have a full time electrician on staff who is constantly monitoring and checking our facilities. We recently had a Horizon Power technician do a complete audit of our electrical system with no issues reported. It is best and would have been appreciated if you had reported any concerns to reception so any issue could be rectified immediately. The safety of our guests and staff is of paramount importance. We take all comments very seriously and I would like to discuss this further with you so I can investigate the issue. Please give me a call at your earliest convenience. We hope you enjoyed the beauty of Coral Bay and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

We spent an amazing 10 days here. The park was full and we had the best time, beach, bakery, shops right across the road , everyone is super friendly. We traveled with our two miniature long haired chihuahuas - we had no shortage of babysitters for our fur babies. Although toilet facilities are showings signs of age they were super clean - big shout out to the cleaners!! - you do a great job
Thanks for having us we will definitely be back

We arrived, as everyone does, into Coral Bay after a long drive. The heat on the road had been a palpable 49⁰c at the Minilya Roadhouse, but a welcome nine degrees cooler on the coast.

We checked in, greeted by friendly staff and directed to our villa which was well apointed and scrupulously clean. The air conditioning was a a welcome respite from the heat.

The grounds were well maintained and everyone so friendly. We had found our paradise. The water supplied to the area comes from bore water, which rises from the ground hot. Clean and fresh drinking water was supplied, but for bathing and washing the bore water was fine. We didnt even need to use the hot tap!

We never wanted to leave. It was bliss, and we can not wait to come back again. An oasis in the hot and parched Australian Outback. It was perfect in every way and can not thank everyone at Ningaloo Coral Bay Bayview enough x x

Centrally located and beautiful area of coral bay. Loads of campsites the park is huge. Right by the beach .

Expensive especially for unpowered site, small campsites all squished together covered in sand with no privacy , facilities are old, dirty and in need of an upgrade and clean.

Showers and all water is bore water, drinking water available in a few taps around the park to refill bottles

We had to move twice during our stay because of availability but they made us check out of our camp spot at 10am and check back in at 11am we were not allowed to check in early. I was told I would need to drive round for an hour because it was so busy and wouldn’t be any parking spots (this wasnt true we just parked up for an hour before we could check in to new spot).

We were moved to unpowered sites in another park across the road from the main camp. Less busy and cramped but Toilets showers kitchen here pretty dirty and only 3 male/3 female showers/toilets for the field so had to queue. Cobwebs and rust and dirt in ablution block.

It’s one of only 2 campsites in coral bay (and it’s the biggest) so definitely taking advantage of this by charging a lot for unpowered site as they know people will book it anyway. The other park peoples park was unavailable for our dates but I’d recommend to try this one first. This is probably the worst campsite we have stayed at on our trip from Perth up the coast.

Coral Bay is lovely though and we enjoyed our stay just don’t expect much for your money!! Would be a great location and camp if they upgraded their facilities

Thank you for your review, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful area of Coral Bay. It is very unfortunate that you had to move sites during your stay with us and we realize that this can be frustrating and our reservations team try their best to juggle bookings so our guests aren't inconvenienced with this process but unfortunately given the fact that this is our busiest time of the year with so many people wanting to enjoy Coral Bay it is on occasion necessary. I was surprised to read your comment stating that you were told you would have to drive around for the time period between checkout and the 11am check in. I haven't heard any of our staff make that comment to anyone before. It is necessary to have that time to do site checks to make sure that everyone has vacated correctly and it gives the ground staff a chance to check the sites for maintenance/clean up etc. I will follow up on your comments regarding the cleanliness of the ablutions & kitchen areas. We hope you enjoy the remainder of your trip.

We’ve been to Coral Bay before to see the whale sharks which was a truly mind-blowing experience. This time we were here for the Mantas and we weren’t disappointed. Coral Bay is really just a cute little tourist village. We had a wonderful time here paying $110 for 2 nights on a powered site in early September. We were very lucky to be placed right on the front row (Bay 161) opposite Bill’s Bar (where we had a few drinks and dinner each night). This isn’t a caravan park for those that want privacy as it is always busy (hard borders have just made this more so) but it has a great laid back vibe. Book as early as possible but even if you have to be in the overflow area I was told by people staying there that it is just as good, if not better.

We went on a half day Manta tour with their boat (don’t forget to use your 10% discount when booking). The trip takes you to an area inside the reef where the residential manta rays hang out. They were feeding and somersaulting underneath us the whole time which was apparently quite rare and absolutely fabulous to see. The water was a little murky due to the plankton/ krill but hey that was why they are there. It didn't take away from the experience. We also saw dolphins on the way out and a tiger shark and a huge turtle (the largest I’ve ever seen) on the way back in. Highly recommended. Book early in your trip as tours get cancelled if the weather is bad or there are large swells. BTW, I get sea sick and was fine with tabs but we had pretty much perfect conditions for boating.

All staff who I contacted were always friendly from reservations/ marketing (Page and Belinda) based in Perth to the people on reception, to the staff on the boat. Nothing was too much trouble even when I needed to amend our booking.
