We had a fabulous two night stay with five other couples. The villas are absolute luxury ,beds very comfortable and spa bath is just wonderful after a lovely day wine tasting. Woke to the most beautiful views overlooking the vines and mountains so breathtaking. Also used the Bbq area and ate in the fabulous restaurant, you could stay and never... More

I came across this brilliant place by chance after driving up from the Blue Mountains into the Hunter Valley and this turned out to be one of the most memorable moments of my two weeks in Australia! It's a proper vineyard in a beautiful setting with great wines, tasting and all you would expect but offers luxury villa suite accommodation... More

Sunday Brunch at Nightingale is an experience to treasure. We dropped in earlier than expected after a harrowing experience(one of our dogs caught in an illegal trap!) and were given the most sympathetic welcome imaginable. After a restorative sparkling shiraz - to die for - we had delicious eggy bees on ciabatta. Lovely!!

We recently booked the 6 villas at Nightingales to accommodate family and friends for our daughter's wedding which was held locally. The villas were very clean and well presented. The atmosphere was very friendly and homely with great hospitality shown to all of us by management and staff. We ate at the restaurant on several occasions for lunch and dinner... More

We ate here for lunch with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The mushroom and spinach bruschetta we had for starters was simply delicious and enough for an entree. The 2 mains that we chose, medallion of eye fillet and herbed lamb racks were exceptional, cooked to everyones liking and beautifully presented. The frozen orange souffle with hot chocolate... More

The villas were luxurious with a beautiful period decor. We also booked at the restaurant. The food here was exceptionally good. Unexpected and on par with some of the best restaurants in Australia!!! The service by the young waitress was exceptionally poor. Making us feel like we were a total inconvience being there. So much potential as a flagship fine... More

We went with friends. 2 rooms at 320 per night. $640 each. You will find much better in the Hunter for a lot less. I am happy to pay this price when it's good. This place isn't. Arrogant owners and dishonest. Not only was it not up to the standards but the owners did not honor their written agreement. Stayed Friday... More

After my boyfriend suprised me for our two year anniversary by taking me to the hunter, we checked in at Nightingale.... When we arrived they couldn't find our booking but eventually got a key to the "sparkling room" (key ring had the word reception written on it and yes they had rennovated the reception into an extra room). Needless to... More
