A wonderful experience to stay in an Inn that was a British built, early 1800's home. We were on the top floor with a view of the harbour in early October and found this inn to be comfortable, found it exceptionally clean and the hosts were charming. A continental breakfast was available with a nice variety of homemade baked goods... More

We stayed here in September and loved this old inn. We were in one of the rooms on the top floor and the ceilings added so much character and the views were great. Everything was clean and inviting. I had no problem paying when we arrived (that actually suits me because then I don't have to worry about forgetting before... More

When researching where to stay in Twillingate, I happened to call this place and reached the owner who, it turned out, knew of my grandfather who was born there. Between himself and his cousin, we got a tour of the islands, anecdotes of my grandfather's childhood and the history of my family's fishing business. This trip far surpassed my expectations... More

This place was quite busy. They had a good breakfast, eggs your way, yogurt, toast, etc. The room was small but cosy. Great location if you want to explore the iceburgs and do some hiking around Twillingate. The only down side is if you are on a top floor you have to carry your luggage up some steep narrow stairs.... More

Beautiful traditional older house with tons of character and charm. We could not ask for more pleasant host and hostesses as wht this location has, an excellent breakfast buufet was available where we could pick and choose what we like along witha great choise of home made muffins and bkaed goods. As for taking my shoes off i was glad... More

Lots of charm, not pretentious. Kitchen is accessible, and there is lots of common space. Front porch overlooks harbour. Family owned; also runs boat tours and nice gift shop. Excellent wi-fi. Overall a very positive experience; I would certainly recommend and return :) 8/10 More

With regards,to taking of our outside footwear,at the door,we agree because we do the same in our own house and we are sure many other guess would agree to.We were also asked for payment upon arrival and it was explained to us that the hostess was very busy with breakfast in the mornings and we can see why the breakfast... On arrival, there was no pleasant welcoming - just "Take your shoes off"! The next request was to pay in full, now. This B&B was overpriced ($149.00 per night) for a minimal room with poor quality bedding. The breakfast was help yourself or eggs would be cooked "if you want them". This is not what I expect from a Bed... More
