We spent 5 days in Norfolk for my daughter and son in law's graduation from EVMS. Our daughter booked us at the Marriott in a 2 bedroom suite. It is a brand new facility ( less than 2 years old) very well located in the downtown core ( which is quite sleepy however). The rooms wee spacious enough and very... More

Stayed here for a conference my company was hosting. From the time I checked in to the time I left the stay did not disappoint. Because I was facilitating the conference, I needed some things last minute and they were very friendly and helpful with meeting my needs. This hotel is located in walking distance of many bars, restaurants, and... More

Mr. Parrow: I regularly stay at the Downtown Norfolk Courtyard once or twice per year depending upon my business meeting needs. My stay last Wed. night 5/9 was pleasant as I am used to the light rail system and it presents no problems during my stay. However, I did have an additional extraordinary stay this time. Front desk employee Ninio... More

HRT used your conference center at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Norfolk, VA. It was perfect for our needs and the accomodations and catering were great. Thank you very much.

We recently spent the week at the Courtyard in downtown Norfolk. I can't say enough positive about our experience. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best we have had in Norfolk. Tara at the front desk was awesome. When we checked in, we requested a quiet room as we are light sleepers. She found... More

Hello in Plymouth! We really and truly appreciate your business! I am so glad that the entire staff went above and beyond. We love our jobs and I hope it shows. As a matter of fact, Tara is so good, she is getting a well deserved promotion within our company. The parking next door at MacArthur is a great alternative... More

We were disappointed in the Courtyard by Mariott in Downtown Norfolk. We were there as a bus group and were promised a breakfast for each morning. They were totally unprepared to serve us breakfast until the third morning and after many complaints. Cold muffins from the freezer and cold bananas, etc. The cleaning people came when we were transported back... More

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review! I am really sorry about the miscommunication between the group that booked the tour and the hotel. The breakfast times that the guests were told were earlier than what we had received from the tour operator. We scrambled to get items out early and I sincerely apologize for the... More

I am a Marriott fan, but for those of you who might not be, a stay at this property will make you one real fast! Aside from being pleasant, staff at this hotel is most accommodating and can help you with all of your needs. Erica Eubanks and Nino Romero will attend to any of your needs and concerns promptly... Today we had the most wonderful Meet & Greet in the Bistro area of the Courtyard. ABNB wanted to get to know the people of Norfolk Southern, so we arranged an informal gathering during lunchtime. The staff at the Courtyard were outstanding. The food was fabulous and everyone was so pleased. Thank you so much to Dawn Anderson and the... More

I spent one night at this hotel for business, and I have to concur that the staff are really top drawer, particularly Tara at the front desk. For a Marriott it seemed more intimate than most, and I was particularly taken with the fact that in the lobby they have a couple of computers with internet access, which is not... More

What can I say about the Courtyard. My stay was one of the best I have had since traveling The staff without a doubt really care about their guests. It shows in their interaction and most importantly in their actions. The rooms are big and well maintained. There is a place to eat at the hotel, but MacArthur mall is... More
