The lobby is stunning. The tazewell has a great price for a location in the center of it all. Live music venues, the MacArthur Center, USS Wisconson, Nauticus, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance. The rooms are clean. Employees are kind. Great Place

The Tazewell Hotel is an excellent hotel with an extraordinary lovation located in downtown Norfolk. Its clean and quiet while having a really nice staff. Its by far one of the best deals you can get. Can only recomment

We visited from DC and stayed over on a Friday night. The desk service was friendly, helpful, and competent. Hotel has been recently renovated. It is nicely located close to bars, restaurants, shopping and Scope Arena where the Norfolk Admirals play. The staff was very nice. I had a corner room which was much larger than some of he other one bedrooms that others in my party had. The room served my sleeping needs.

My wife and I just stayed at the Tazewell for a weekend away while in Norfolk to see " Jersey Boys". This was an ejoyable addition to a perfect weekend away as it is in the heart of downtown. This hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Covered parking is available. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were extra friendly. This will likely be our "go-to" hotel for future trips to Norfolk.
