I organised an event in this hotel on 11-12 April 2013 and stayed here for 6 days. The rooms have been refurbished and are well decorated. My stay here was on Marriott Points. At Marriott Hotels you get upgraded if you are Gold status or higher on free stays which is a nice perk. “Great Option When Going on Spirit of Norfolk”

I stay at this hotel when i go on the Spirit of Norfolk. Great location for views of the city and the water. Hotel is in walking distance of restaurants and attractions. Large clean room and friendly staff. Will stay here everytime I'm in Norfolk.

“Solid hotel”

We stayed for two nights while visiting my brother in Norfolk. Seemed convenient to most of the downtown attractions, although we didn't really go to any of them. The bed was soft and comfortable, which is most important. Room was clean and well decorated. Will likely stay there again.

“Nicest option for hotel in Downtown Norfolk”

Looks like this property was recently renovated. Everything looked and smelled pristinely new. Spacious rooms with lots of windows offering nice view of downtown. Easy access to all major attractions. Self parking is an option an easy with above street crossover to garage. Water temp in shower was a little inconsistent in morning. But a solid and nice hotel!

“Very nice accomodations”

Hotel is in a great location for its views of the city & the water. Also, it is very accessible for walking to restaurants and/or bars when you are in town for business/pleasure. Large clean room & friendly, helpful staff. Would stay here again.

This hotel has some of the old world charm with all the modern amenities (one exception was the slow internet speed. I had no problem connecting wireless, it was just slow).
