“great facillites”

Weather too cool & windy for the outside pool & sea so the inside pool & wellness centre was really useful. The sports facillites too were well used by active teenagers. Note the gym can only be used if over 16.you also need your own towels or hire them for your stay. It seems like a private club for use... More

There were no negatives here. Brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. What more could you want, If you dont want to hire a car let the local buses take the strain. This hotel is in a lovely location but miles from anywhere, buses run into Funchal but can take nearly one hour, local restaurants and shops close very early so there is little to do in the evening and rarely any entertainment in the hotel. Splendid facilities,close to the rocky coastline. Be sure to make a trip inland,lots of lovely to see. But dont rent a car with Magos car rental!!

With a teenage son who is sporty we booked this hotel on the strength of the reviews on here and the unusually good sports facilities on offer.
