My husband and I stayed at Casa Mezzuola for two nights in September. If you're looking for a reasonably priced basic room this serves the purpose. The room had some cobwebs and bugs, but you are in the Tuscan hillside so this should be expected. The musty smell however, could probably be remedied. Breakfast was lovely, bread, jam, coffee and... We spent 3 nights at Casa Mezzuola, appartment Colognole, and 7 nights at Casa Lilly, which was around 200 m away from C. Mezzuola, but was also managed by Ricccardo. Riccardo and Nicoletta are very nice persons, and find always time to help you with any questions. The Colognole was well and tastfully equiped and we felt like prince and... More

Do not let the road from Greve scare you. This is a wonderful place with a very friendly and helpful host and hostess. After being in the cities, getting to the countryside and having this nice place to stay was wonderful. Riccardo was extremely helpful in identifying places to see, and really good restaurants out in the countryside. I would... More

We spent 6 days on may 2011 at Casa Mezzuola. We stayed in the San Cresci appartment which was very charming, cozy and comfortable. From our windows we have a spectacular and breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills. Surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, this is a really great place to relax. The location is perfect being situated between Florence and... More

We stayed for a few nights this summer and had a good experience. The views are nice and location is great. The last mile is a dirt road which has its minuses but it also adds to the away from it all feel More

We spent 4 relaxing and peaceful days in Casa Mezzuola! The place is very nice and cozy and we had a beautiful room with our own private entrance and a garden. The owners are very friendly and Riccardo introduced us to the interesting places to visit around and also suggested a few wineries. We also visited Florence which is 30... More

We had a really relaxing week staying at Riccardo and Nicolette's idyllic farmhouse at the top of this beautiful Tuscan hillside. The location is amazing, the pool is great and this makes a great base to explore the hill towns of Chianti. Check out the Ristoro Restaurant in nearby Lamole. More

A breath-taking view from Casa Mezzuola! We did enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and the swimming pool is gorgeous! The owner is so friendly and he introduced us the places for exquisite Italian foods! It's so impressive! However, it is better to drive the car. More

Just got back from Casa Mezzuola two days ago and wanted to write while things are still fresh in my mind. 1. Do NOT arrive at night, you will be very lost and scared. Also, do NOT use navigation to try to get to location as it will take you through scary, unkept, bad roads that will not lead to... More
