We loved our 5 day stay at Antico Pastificio . The apartment was spacious and cool with a charm from the original building being so old . There is a swimming pool if you have the inclination to sit around the pool at the end of the day . The service can be a bit eccentric at times but it... More

Where do it start?? I had been to italy several times with friends and family and usually do the hotel/hostel thing inside the city. My experiences in hotel and staying downtown big cities I realized that I found myself in the middle of all the tourist traps. On the other hand when I had the pleasure to stay at Antico... More

I was so much looking forward to this place as the reviews were good and an acquaintance had recommended this for us. It was however a disappointment! I should have known when asked to pay up front as we checked in. This was the first and only accommodation that has required this out of many places we stayed in. Now... More

We stayed one night in a room that was, as we expected, very basic. But know this: no soap, phone, hair dryer or amenities of any kind. 2 bath towels and one hand towel. And walls so thin that you can hear people above and beside you talking, using their washroom etc. While we were aware we were staying during... More

The Antico PASTIFICIO apartment was the best in Italy that we experienced. The apartment had been renovated beautifully, clean and everything we needed was provided. Great pool, BBQ area, games room and wine tasting area and the wine being outstandingly delicious. Monica's hospitality was exceptional- even joining us and another Kiwi family for a BBQ. 100 or so steps to... More

We stayed here several days in early June and found Antico Pastificio good value and a really great location. Our apartment – kitchen/dining area, lounge and a mezzanine-floor sleeping area – was generously spacious and typically Tuscan. Which means the furnishing was somewhat spartan, the lighting rather dim, the bathroom lacked horizontal surfaces for our toiletries etc. and the staircase... More

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for four nights and used this establishment as a base to explore areas such as Florence (bus stop around the corner), Sienna, San Gimignano etc. We had a large balcony which we used for breakfast each morning -( fresh bread across the street! ) Secure parking provided behind the hotel's extensive grounds. Location... More

The idea of staying in a renovated pasta factory was intriguing. The building is large with many rooms that have been subdivided into a variety of sizes and shapes - . We stayed in a one room with bath, (Tino), that was actually situated below street level on the street side, but at ground level at the rear. The room... More

Stumbled into this place by accident and was blown away by it's charm. Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it is full of charm. Very spacious. The communal areas take up most of the ground floor and are HUGE. Table tennis tables, pool table, places to sit and relax it has it all! The apartments were great.... More

What a great choice Antico Pastificio turned out to be. Our group of 2 couples stayed in the large 3 brm Mercantino apartment - 3 private ensuites, kitchen (but who cooks when you are on holiday!) and sitting area - no balcony unfortunately but there was an extensive balcony with chairs/tables downstairs. Garden and grounds in general were immaculately kept... More
