when we stayed here in November 2011 we were the only guests for the one night we stayed there. this place is in an incredible location just 10 mins drive from PA. the setting is stunning and the rooms were very comfortable with an amazing view (we had a room with a balcony for 90 Euro inc breakfast). we also... Clean spacious room & bathroom. Daily cleaning and towel replacements. Excellent dinner and wines for reasonable price. Delicious grappa after dinner. Breakfast is good, though less quality than dinner. Nice place to stay for visititing the Piazza Armerina region. More

In my many years of traveling in Italy, I have never had a worse cup of cappuccino. While that may sound trivial, it is a metaphor for the quality and authenticity of this place: an Italian who doesn't know how to make or serve a decent espresso does not belong in the business of representing his country. The first indication... More

It was great pleasure staying at Agriturismo Gigliotto. We enjoyed the property, the food, the wine and most of all the hospitality. The location is excellent with great views. Looking forward to also enjoying their wines once its imported to the USA. We will definitely return on future trips to beautiful Sicily and recommend to others to stay at Agriturisom... More

We have been totally spellbound by Gigliotto. The place is enchanting and the people who run it are among the best that one could ever hope to meet. We shall be regular visitors surely. We just cannot praise this delightful haven enough. Unlike large, luxurious hotels which give a surreal feel of a world that does not exist, Gigliotto transports... More

Gorgeous 14th c monastery converted into elegant hotel on a promentary among vineyards. Magnificent grounds: Huge swimming pool, gracious terraces, surrounded by green mountains sloped in every direction. Covered with crops, working winery on location. Marvelous dinner with their own wine and cheese, delicious breakfast served on outdoor terrace overlooking pool, vineyard, and surrounding countryside. Splendid place to stay. Marvelous. More

This 13th century converted monastery offers a relaxing environment with very good food. The bonus, for us, was a typical Sicilian wedding held there during our stay More

My wife and I stayed here with another couple for two nights. This is a large hotel in the countryside of Sicily but not an agriturismo. The staff was impersonal, and not very friendly. The food was mediocre at best, especially for thirty euro per person at dinner. The dishes on which we were served and utensils were not clean.... More

The views! Our room at Gigliotto was quite basic and clean and neat. The highlight of the room was the huge private terrace overlooking the farmlands. We had dinner at the hotel and the set menu was superb value for money. The food was tasty, comfort-type food and the meal was rounded off with another highlight - a selection of... More

My husband and I spent one night at this lovingly renovated location. It was very much the "off season" so we did not get to sample the pool and had little company. But the weather was sunny and warm and the distant view of Mt Etna was awesome. The dinner and brekfast was more than ample and quite delicious. The... More
