Spent 4 nights here in June. Return trip having stayed here 5 years ago. We took the bus from La Rochelle and hired bikes while we were on the island. Getting there by bus was very easy and the bus stops about 50 metres from the hotel. Nice room, friendly staff. Not cheap but reasonable value given location.
