Pretty hotel with a warm welcome and very comfortable room

Horrible experience here. My room was moldy and musty. The bathroom window opened on to the street, meaning my eyes were about LEVEL with the street. We had a wonderful two days on Ile de Re and were delighted to have l'Ocean to stay at. The room was small but very comfortable and the staff were really welcoming. L'Ocean is situated in the heart of Le Bois Plage and is in a great location to explore the island.

What a great place. A small hotel with great patio's and a lot of space for childern to play. Right in the center of Le Bois Plage which is a great little town with one of the best beaches of the island. The restaurant has good food (and great atmosphere) and there is a very nice swimming pool (wind free!).
