Having read past reviews on this hotel and it being too late to change was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very small but clean & tidy. Slept through the night. Staff very friendly and efficient. Excellent food & service.

Took the last room available in the hotel but did not expect the shower to be broken. By the morning after a second shower the thing completely fell apart. Have stayed here several times as there is very little choice in this area. Lovely town with impressive 'historical feel'. Hotel is very convenient for town centre and local restaurants & bars.
