My wife and I stayed In La Roque-Gageac on Rick Steve's recommendation, but I found this hotel on Trip Advisor. What a find! Ouafaa and her husband bought this little gem about five years ago, live there, and take impeccable care of it both inside and out. Wonderful rooms ( mine was a suite ), paneled half-walls, dining room with... More

The night we arrived, the hosts served wine and cheese on the luxurious grounds overlooking the river and the town of La Roque Gageac. What a way to start our stay! The rooms are all furnished with style using beautiful fabrics from Paris. The breakfast is not to be missed since the owner, Ouffa, bakes special dishes every morning. We... More

We stayed at Manoir de la Malartrie 3 nights mid October. The Manoir is well decorated with personal touch. Everything served at the breakfast from bread, jam, egg, ham to coffee were selected with great care: fresh and delicious. One morning we had to leave early for the tickets to Font Gaume VN. Ouaffa handed us a thermos of coffee... More

My husband and I and some friends were fortunate to spend four days at Manoir de la Malartrie early in October. The location of the manoir is perfect, overlooking the river within walking distance of the pretty village of La Roque Gageac. The manoir is historic but very well restored with wonderful gardens. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and... More

Everything was perfect. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The breakfasts were delicious... More

I stayed here in the fall of last year for a little cooking and photography retreat. Absolutely everything about the Manoir was perfect from the seriously amazing breakfasts, the big beautiful rooms, the relaxing grounds. The view!! I'm plotting my return in a couple of years.

We are fortunate to be able to travel around the World, but it's not often you come across somewhere so perfect as the Manoir de la Malatrie in the stunning village of La Roque Gageac. This beautiful, small Manoir, with its 5 rooms, overlooks both the river Dordogne and the village of La Roque and is run by the totally... More
