Stayed here in May 2011, for a hiking holiday arranged through Swedish STS Alpresor. This hotel is a really pretty one, in the middle of Bad Gastein. Visited winter 2011 during high season. Hotel is very stylish and full of "old time charm", but unfortunately it's turned into all-inclusive resort. This is a ok hotel - close to the slopes and lifts. The hotel and the indoor materials is old, and could use an update. Everthing is made in dark wood. Be aware there is noise both from the outdoor and from the indoor, so if you have problems sleeping this is the wrong hotel. Even the cleaning lady's goes... More

Its posh in The old way- lots of Swedes-Norwegians-Finns so you know What you get- 4 star food- nice breakfast-after ski buffet-dinner- talk with The staff and they Will love you- close to silver bullet bar and not too far from Felsen therme and The Stubnerkogel lift- we stayed a week and loved it
