Although it is a few blocks away from the center of Granada, this is worth the walk to stay here. The owner is wonderful, giving us a plethora of information about town and transit to neighboring areas. The hotel is quiet, the gardens are beautiful, the rooms clean with comfortable beds, and the $5 breakfast is delicious. Cheaper than comparable... More

This place is something you don't see much. It's new everything is new including the owner. They give you their all and your stay makes u feel as if you we're relaxing at you're home instead of a busy city. The place is a little unknown but once you stay you will always remember it.

From the other reviews, I wasexpecting a bit better experience here than what I actually got. The room was nice, though the beds rather high; the bathroom was tight and difficult to maneuver in (and neither I nor my travel companion are large), but the gardens outside are nice, the staff is friendly, and it was good to have internet... This was a great place to stay in Granada, as Yexira is very helpful and knowledgable about events in and around town. The room was great, very clean, cool and well-organised and the grounds were also lovely. Breakfast was also filling and delicious - very good value.

Yexira was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. She gave us a lot of information and even helped us get in touch with some people regarding the project that we were working on. The rooms are clean and the place has a homely feel. It's not a far walk from the city center and the location is quaint and... More

This lovely little hotel is a good value. It's a bit away from the center but easily walkable during the day and taxis in Granada are cheap. Compared to what one would pay to be right downtown you can spring for lots of taxis and still come out ahead. Once we even took a coche (horse carriage) from downtown to... More

This hotel is slightly off the beaten path but great value and within walking distance of Granda sights. The couple who run this hotel are passionate and delightful and want to help visitors enjoy their stay in Granada in particular and Nicaragua in general. We arrived late and hungry and dinner was made for us. A great tour was arranged... More

I just spent one Day in Granada so unfortunatly I didn't sleep there. We asked the owner if we could leave our backpacks with her. She gave us a room for our backpacks and showed us arround. There are rooms for mulitple people and also single rooms. She has an amazing garden with mostly fruit trees. We felt so very... More

We stayed at Casa Barcelona for 4 nights. The hotel has a nice garden beside the rooms and is very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of central Granada. The rooms are a good size, with lovely big and comfortable beds, new and modern, with cable TV, although the reception wasn't great in our room. No hot water, but... More
