We stayed here for a couple of days in April. Il Padrino is a hidden gem in Granada, very close to the center. It offers you even a kitchen outside to cook, the rooms are nice decorated and clean. Toby, the owner, is very helpful and super kind. Thank you for a great stay!

I was travelling as a solo tourist in Nicaragua in january and someone from trip advisor suggested this little hotel and I am so pleased to have stayed there. For the money it was above and beyond my expectations. toby and Stephen the owners made my trip so memorable albeit that i was only there for two nights. They went... More

This hotel is a good value for the money! My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights this past April and its a few blocks away from the main street -- Calzada. The price we paid for 2 nights was less than what other hotels charge for one! That being said, since we went during their summer -- it... More

I discovered this small hotel, with only 5 rooms, on Tripadvisor. I was very satisfied with the stay. The property is owned and run by a British expat. I paid $35 per night. All the rooms have one queen bed. There are no doubles.Contrary to what a previous reviewer stated, the rooms do NOT have air conditioning. However, each room... More

We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is owned / managed by a father / son combination who could not have been more helpful. Wifi in the reception room, cable TV in the rooms and excellent air con. The rooms are spacious and clean. 5 minutes walk from the main bars and restaurants. We didnt... More

Like the previous reviewer, what can I say that hasn't already been said? This place is fantastic. Wonderful hosts, great location an easy and safe walk from the center of town, and the hotel itself is beautiful and quiet. I was a little wary about the lack of air conditioning, but I found it wasn't really necessary. I haven't stayed... More

Previous reviews have pretty much said it all. Great hosts, pleasant rooms (with lots of light and exposure to the garden courtyard) & good location. I suggest reserving early as they fill their five rooms quickly

We have stayed in many small hotels and bed and breakfasts over the years but this is the first time we've felt compelled to write a review. Stephen and Toby are as been said many times are incredible hosts. We stayed for two weeks, (and may be back in the fall) and felt there was a wonderful blend of being... More

The owners, Stephen and Toby, are incredible hosts. We felt like we were apart of the family. They gave great suggestions, shared some drinks, and offered a few rides during our stay. The rooms have a nice balance between Spanish colonial with a modern flare. The location is in a safe area, yet close to restaurants and bars.
