A great place: the owners have managed to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where one felt at ease straight away with the owners and other visitors.Several languages spoken, great books to borrow ...just great Huguette-Oliver

This was a very clean hostel with great service. The environment was relaxing and quiet so don't expect a party here. There is kitchen use for cooking but the breakfasts made here are amazing especially the crepes. The staff were all very accomodating. This was a a safe and great place to rest after long days exploring the city.

My husband, daughter and I stayed for 2 nights at La Siesta. It was one of the nicest stays we have ever had in any place. Clean, quiet, good location, friendly and helpful staff, I could go on and on. The pre-ordered breakfast, while not included in the price, was excellent and extremely reasonable in price. Free wi-fi plus comfortable... More

I loved the owners and their adorable little daughter. The way they treat you as a guest are formidable. The helpfulness and empathy for customers is very very nice and lovely. The atmoshpere was very welcoming and I enjoyed getting to know the other visitors in the house. The free WIFI throughout the property works fine. Property was clean, secure &... More

We've been traveling a lot in Central America and this hostel is definitely one of the best,we have stayed in so far! It's cheap, clean (really clean),friendly and welcoming!!! Go there if you wanna have a nice time and relax from some other disgusting places that you often experience in this area as well!

We stayed one night here in a private room with shared bathroom ($20). The place is run by a lovely French/Nicaraguan couple and everything is homely, clean and comfortable. The owners are super welcoming (very fast to reply by email) and gave us a juice on arrival. Awesome shower too! The only thing that could have been better was that... More

Lovely, small guesthouse in excellent location with friendly hosts. We stayed three nights and wished we had more time. Our room was clean and comfortable, the shared bathroom had the best shower that we've had in Central America. Boris, the host had great advice on where to eat and visit. Very happy to recommend this guesthouse.

My husband and I stayed at La Siesta for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms are cozy and clean, a bit hot in April, but that's nicaragua for you. The bathroom was very clean with great hot water. Breakfast, though not included, was tasty and reasonably priced. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful with suggestions on things... More

This is such a lovely hostel in Granada. You can definitely find (from what I have heard) a bigger or fancier place in this city, but if you want to have a real family host you as if you were truly their guests, and you want something a little away from the tourist loop, this is the place to go!...
