My boyfriend and I ended up staying at Oasis for over a week as we did 5 days of Spanish school in Granada - we really enjoyed our stay. Our private double room was basic but all we needed. If you want to get your room cleaned you just have to let reception know in the morning which was a... More

I read a lot of the other reviews and I looked at staying at Hostel Oasis as an adventure. I was pleasantly surprised! The hostel was clean, charming and had architecture characteristic of Granada. There was a large common area with two small courtyards-- one had chairs and trees and was surrounded by hammocks; the other was the pool that... More

We stayed here the first week of may for 3 nights. Was our first spot we went, and we were not used to the heat so we got the ac room. The staff were friendly, spoke a little english and helped with my lack of Spanish. The little pool was an amazing place to relax after our jam packed days... More

This is an ok, cheap place to hang out and explore Granada and vicinity. But watch out - another guest had her passport and wallet stolen from her room while we were here. I would stay here again, but use common traveler's sense don't leave your valuables laying around and lock the door when you aren't around.

Stayed two nights in a private room. First night we went without AC, but since there was no breeze into our room it was pretty hot. The only place in Nica where I felt (at least in this room) AC was necessary. Although the pool may be small, it was great to jump into. The location is very central as... More

The hostel is near to the market area. It is very clean and has a small pool, many hammocks, a nice kitchen and a free call per day. If you want to stay up longer than 11pm (quiet-time!)you can promise to whisper, that should work ;) Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. There are free biscuits and coffee... More

I arrived to Granada on Sunday night, April 29th, looking for a place to sleep in for ONE night. I entered this hostel and I asked for a private room, they showed me one, and while we were walking towards the room I was asked where was I from. They walked me back to the front desk and the two... Title says it all - booked here keen for a less expensive option after having spent up big in very nice places for a few nights (mostly because we were afraid of being stabbed) in Tegucigalpa (so it has to have been this place) and woke up to horrible bed bug bites. Politely told the staff at reception who were... More

I am the owner of Oasis and have received over 73 reviews throughout the years (Oasis has been in businesss for 10 years!) , yet this is the first time I going to answer. I MUST ANWSER TO THIS REVIEW!!! Bedbugs are a worldwide problem and have nothing to do with a "good expensive hotel" vs. a hostel, a dirty... More

Dorms are great, comfy and not to crowdy. Pool area which is lovely, ok breakfast, good coffee. A lot of computers with possibilities to use headphones. Hammocks, movies and a common kitchen which makes Oasis a place to get stuck in for longer than you planned for. The only thing I have complainings about is the staff. They were not... More

Hostel Oasis provided everything I needed for my few day stay in Granada: a clean, pretty respite to come ¨home¨ to after traipsing about; friendly, helpful staff who take their jobs seriously; and a nice combination of fellow solo and group travelers with stories and tips to share. A pretty little tiled pool in the center ¨square¨ is a nice... More
