We just returned from 5 days at this property where 5 of us were finishing our Thailand holiday. We booked through Agoda and ended up having the oldest, most poorly maintained rooms on the property - when there were maybe only 20 others at the entire resort!! Broken lamps, lightbulbs missing, minibars essentially empty, loud aircon - you name it....

Not yet a 5 star resort. We would rate Aiyapura a solid 4-star hotel by Thai standards.

We had a perfect time there and the organisation and planning for our wedding including 40 guest from abroad was perfectly managed. The ressort by itself is located in a privat bay with a beautifull view. If you have the chance to book Villa 426 that is really amazing.
Indeed the interieur isn`t fitting to a modern 5 star hotel...
