I stayed in the best bungalow on the resort, I would give the rest a wide berth, rubbish strew dirty place. This is the only place I have ever been told by a member of staff to [--] Off!!! All I asked for was a clean cup. There are much, much nicer places to stay. Also these bungalows have many lively... More

When we arrived at Siam Hut it seemed that we had reached paradise. The location the accomodation is just perfect. It took us about a day to stop fooling ourselves and see that the place was littered, not cared for and that the staff treats you like they don't want you there. The bungalows are basic, have their own bathroom... More

Well it was cheap and would have been a great place if only they had cleaned and tidied up the ground around the huts! Right on the beach good restaurant attached although staff a bit indifferent if they had only spent a little time and effort it would be a five star place as the beach is great. It struck... More

Yes it is a shame, a terrible shame because this resort could in fact be everything that you had hoped for your fantastic trip to Koh Chang and in particular, lonely beach. I couldn't help thinking, as I lounged in their communal bar/restaurant, 'when did they give up caring?' The 'resort' was obviously a great place to come at some... More

It may be cheap but it's disgusting. The resort is filthy with rubbish strewn everywhere. The huts are unsecure and dirty, the sheets where unwashed and there were hairs on the pillowcases and stains on the mattress. The bins were never emptied and the smell of sewerage was overpowering. The staff are damn right rude and unfriendly and treat you... More

We stayed in a 2nd row bungalow for 5 nights and didn't regret it for a second. We had a fan and a mosquito net and slept like a baby every night! The bungalows are bamboo and the rooms are essentially open to the outdoors... the walls do not meet the ceiling and in the bathroom area, though they have... More

stayed here 10 years ago, and the place has gone down since then. Super unfriendly staff, could not even manage a greeting on arrival. Dirty rooms, with serious plumbing issues, right next to a rubbish pit that stank. Got ill from the food, and checked out the next day. amazingly they seemed busy, but why im not sure....there are plenty... More

Unfriendly staff that basically grunt unless taking your money. rubbish everywhere, holes in the floors and walls unsecured doors nowhere for your clothes, overpriced food and drinks and it was 400 baht a night. The worst quality beach huts i have stayed in , in the whole of asia. Stayed one night and got the hell outta dodge. positives are... More

My "hut" was in the middle of a trash pit. In fact the entire hotel area looked like a dump. I've stayed in all sorts of austere places on islands in Thailand. Most are extremely basic, but at least the owner/managers take pride in their facility and keep them clean. At Siam Hut trash is openly strewn across the property,... More

After having surfed the internet quite a bit to find a simple but relaxing beach-hut on Ko Chang, we decided to have a go on Siam Huts at Lonely Beach. In Fact, you won't find too many budget huts on the internet, most of them are on a walk-in basis and so is Siam Huts. However, when we got our... More
