On a surfing road trip through Morocco we found ourselves driving way North from the Sahara and ending up in Safi because of a good swell that was forecast for that area. Through our hosts in Morocco we were hooked up to stay at the Riad du Pecheur as guests of Mehdi the owner. We arrived late at night after... More

On a recent surfing holiday myself and a few friends had the fortune of finding Riad du Pecheur. We arrived late in the evening, not expecting any eating options at that time of night yet it was no trouble for the chef to open the kitchen and provide us with an amazing 3 course meal. The rooms were of excellent... More

A wonderful place thanks to the love put into decorating each room in a diffent - but always very beautiful - fashion. The service is excellent and amiable and the riad is placed in a very central location. I enjoyed every minute of it.

On a coastal Moroccan bike trip, my boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. Since it was October and pretty low season, we were the only ones in this hotel and got the room above the reception area with a gorgeous view. I think the other rooms has nice views too. We had a lovely meal near the fountain... More

This place is amazing, and by far the best tourist accommodation in Safi. Because Safi is not a tourist center, it does not have many options in terms of hotels. The Riad (or Ryad) du Pecheur, though, is on a par with any of the lovely riads you'd find in Essaouira or Marrakech. The owners have gone out of their... More

This charming ryad with nice terraces, garden, decoration, ... is situated right besides the medina of safi. Parking is next to the ryad. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The room itself was very spaciousand luxurious but in need for some maintenance and renovation. One of the aircos/heaters didn't work, a few... More

Where do I start, this hotel was fantastic. I absolutely loved everything about this riad. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help you out with everything you need. The restaurant was so good beginning at breakfast with the delicious mint tea the assortment of pastries, crepes and everything you would need for a traditional Moroccan breakfast, don't miss... Beautiful place. Lots of atmosphere. The terrace is wonderful to soak it all up with a cup of tea or have the meal. Very accomodating about the food (we stayed HB), but had a little mishap when serving our vegeterian friend a soup containing meat. After this the owner simply disappeared. Close enough to the old city and pottery section... More
