New, but very much built in the old desert style, with plenty of moroccan rugs, and a decent evening meal. A bit unfinished around the edges, and the people at the desk could be a bit more welcoming (and efficient), but by and large a decent place to stay. Not sure about the pool, though, which looked very suspect.

We slept here for one night en route to Merzouga. This hotel with its terrible temperature (not more than 16 degrees C) caused us a cold, de facto ruining all our trip in Morocco. The food was served in a enormous cold restaurant, it was not very good and definitely cold, too. There is no such a thing like room service... More

Our expectations were high when we arrived to Hotel Taddart ... and we were NOT disappointed. The hotel is alive with beautiful natural slabs of Moroccan fossils and minerals - bands of native golden onyx glow throughout the lobby and rooms. The dining room features a bold enormous fireplace (welcomed during a rainy day), along with an endless buffet of... More

Hotel Taddart's location makes it a convenient stopover for travellers on the Merzouga - Fes route. It purports to offer 4* accommodation in an area where quality options can be limited. At a standard rate of 600DH/night, it charges a premium to many other hotels in the area. And we expected an experience to match. How underwhelmed we were. Our... More

A good place to stay overnight if travelling from fes to merzouga. A new hotel (approx 6 months old) and although large, it is tastefully decorated in traditional moroccan style. The service is very good indeed, professional, friendly, helpful and good english spoken generally amongst staff members. Rooms well furnished, linen clean, beds comfortable. Varied supper menu, service good, food... More

We stopped in Midelt on our way from Fez to Merzouga, for a sleep. This huge hotel is brand new and definitly 4 star. It was actually very tastefull decorated (which is not always the case with big hotels like this). I don't believe there's a lot to do in Midelt, but for a good sleep and some relaxing, this... More
