I was fortunate to spend a night at the Red Fox Inn unexpectedly when my travel plans changed. The main inn was full, but there was a room available in the Stray Fox across the street from the Red Fox. My room was cozy and the location was quiet. The bathroom was spacious, especially for a historic building. The Inn... More

The Inn: Historic, yet relaxing, accommodations, friendly staff, with an amazing breakfast included if you get to the restaurant early enough. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend getaway! The Inn has a great variety of different historic rooms from which to choose for your stay, which makes your visit even more unique. A bonus during our most recent stay: when... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights over Valentine's Day and really enjoyed the cozy charm. Our room was located in the second building called the Stray Fox and is right across the street from the original building. We moved rooms when we realized our originally booked room had a private bathroom...outside the room and down the hall.... More

I was treated here for my birthday and was quite impressed with the grounds, the rooms, the staff and the food, both dinner and breakfast the next morning. Looking forward to coming back to perhaps have a chance encounter with Mosby, the Gray Ghost..

We just stayed at The Red Fox Inn last week for the first time ever. The Inn is ideally located for strolling around Middleburg which is full of fun little shops. As horse people, we really enjoyed the horsey flavor to everything in town. The staff at the Inn was very welcoming. Since I had previewed the room online before... More

The Red Fox Inn is a charming inn in the lovely little town of Middleburg. The location of the inn can't be beat as it is right on the main street of Middleburg and smack dab in the heart of town near shops and restaurants. The overall feel of the inn, especially the restaurant, is very warm, cozy and historic.... More

We stayed in the Furness Suite in the Stray Fox Building. Laid out a bit odd, have to watch the low ceilings in a few places, but overall a great room. Very Quiet while we were there, even though they were sold out. Breakfast's were great. Would definitely stay there again!!!

We overall had a wonderful time. Outstanding dinner at the Inn!!!! Great breakfast!!! Things to note about room that did not meet what one would expect of a very expensive multi star hotel. 1. Lightbulb missing from table lamp. 2.Had an ice bucket but no glasses to go with it. 3. Water bottles in room but no glasses. 4. Quality... More

Large rooms, appointed with antiques, comfy 4 poster bed. Food was delicious.could have used a small fridge. We were part of a wedding party. I would recommend the Inn for events. Staff were very professional and friendly.

My husband, daughter and I made reservations at the Red Fox Inn in Middleburg for a weekend wedding, which was held in another bed and breakfast close by. The Inn is lovely on the outside - as is all of Middleburg - but we were disappointed by the rooms. Positives: comfortable beds, great full breakfast in the main part of... More
