We saw the other reviews, and the website, and wow!! It doesn't do it justice. A newly built property that is all slate, reclaimed beautiful wood, leather, and service. This has to be at the top of any luxury hotel list; the rooms are spacious and modern, with control panels for the lighting and shades. The staff is outstanding, from... More

At first I was a little leery of this place due to the remote location. It was a large family trip with 19 people from ages 1 - 75. The accommodations are spectacular. LEED certified (if that floats your boat) hotel. Rooms are large and airy and the beds are really comfortable. One thing that is confusing is that if... More

Birthday celebration dinner for my Fiancée. One of the best dinners we have ever had. Service was great, wine was spectacular. Spa was fantastic 12,000 acre - VERY Remote resort - Lots of activities Not Cheap, If you are looking to save money, look elsewhere. Plan on staying on the resort, not much to do outside of the resort

We stayed in Cardinal East and had a great time - the construction of the lodge and cottages is impressive - definitely 5 star. Cottage was ideal as it has a small kitchen so we cooked breakfast in the mornings. Resort set up a pack n' play for our 4 month old and we ate dinner with her in the... More

Just returned from a weekend at Primland to celebrate our anniversary. We needed peace, quiet, relaxation and pampering -- Primland delivered on every front. Our room was fantastic with an amazing view of Pilot Mountain. The beds/bedding are dreamy! We dined at Stables Saloon, Elements, the 19th Pub and in our room. All were fantastic. Don't miss the hikes around... More

Our favorite resort. Wonderful golf, food, drink, & lodging. This was our 3rd visit in 3 years--it will be an annual trip. Attention to detail and customer service outstanding. The Lodge and all rooms are understated elegance. Golf course sits atop the mountain with incredible, stunning views of mountains and woods. Great elevations on the golf course which is always... Primland is the best of all worlds. It provides the amenities of a five-star hotel in a remote, close to nature setting. The hotel has only 26 rooms, with some surrounding cottages, but the service provided is upper-scale European quality, but with a Southern hospitality flavor. You'll wake to a special breakfast and can later dine in any of 3... More

Wonderful getaway. We stayed in fairway cottage and could not have been nicer. The golf course was very challenging and in superb condition. We ate at Elements and Stables and both were excellent. The service was top notch everywhere in the resort. Will definitely be back.

Primland is an amazing resort...the lodge has something like 30 rooms and even when it's full, you feel like you're the only people at the place. We stayed at the Lodge, so can't comment on the cabins, though everyone we talked to that stayed in one of them loved it. First, FILL UP YOUR GAS TANK as soon as you... More

I hesitate to really go into great detail about how great this place is. The more people read about Primland, the harder it will be to get a reservation. It is truly a unique getaway location that offers the option of a busy day full of exciting activities or a day of nothing, taking in the gorgeous views and relaxing... More
