again it was a great experience. front desk personnnel very informative on sights to see in the area. hotel is very clean and comfortable. it is nice to see a hotel staff that still is customer service oriented. i have stayed at a couple hotels in the area and for the price hojo's can's be beaten.

I made this reservation October 31, 2011. Stayed here for two days for VMI graduation. Before we arrived we called the hotel for directions. Just spent the weekend here. First impression was favorable: located on top of a hill, view was remarkable! Front desk staff was friendly and efficient, room was clean and very big. Excellent front desk staff, very clean room, very clean bathroom, comfortable bed. I researched all the local hotels on trip advisor and settled here because of the positive reviews. Any negative reviews published about this hotel were obviously put there by unreasonable people with unreasonable expectations. Do yourself a favor and stay here, I'll definately be back.
