It's no frills for sure but it's clean. The fridge works. The hot water is hot. The beds are ok. And they will take 2 dogs.

This hotel was the best deal we could find in Lexington. Hotel appeared to be recently renovated; the room was clean and spacious enough; large bathroom with fridge and microwave (but no coffeepot). Very friendly, pleasant desk clerk. We asked for non-smoking and there were no lingering smoke odors, as can often happen in older hotels/motels. Photo of hotel on... More

My son and I were riding to Lexington and called several hotels. Most wanted 135.00 or more. Economy Inn offered the best price. When we arrived the manager saw we were riding motorcycles and offered us a ground floor room and said we could park the bikes right in front of the room. The room was clean and neat with... More

DO NOT stay here! When we checked in the room smelt terrible like mold..we immeditaley went and asked for another room. THey made the mistake of telling us the room was not occupied for 3 weeks and they d not keep the air running. It smelt moldy and we both got headaches and our stuffy noses. They said they could... We stayed at this place this past weekend. The prices of other hotels were so over the top for this busy weekend in Lexington. Our room was clean and neat and was a pleasent suprise to us. However I was not crazy about the microwave and fridge in bathroom ,even with the bar on top and the cubby it was... More

We picked this hotel as a quick over night stay on the way back from a concert and wished we would have paid the extra to stay somewhere else. I'm not sure why some people had such great visits but we did not. We arrived late that night and had to wait 10 mins for the guy working the front... More

Economy Inn is an older property, with room doors to the exterior. What is impressive is the management has kept it alive by remodeling the room and especially the bathrooms, plus the check foyer. Very clean and well kept. There is plenty of competition at this I-81 exit, and I would have to say for the price, the room was... More

We stayed one night while traveling from Virginia Beach to Louisville, KY. We travel without a schedule, so many times we have to check several hotels in an area to find the best deal. This hotel was lowest price. The room was clean and the staff helpful. Bathroom had been recently remodeled with granite countertops and new tub insert. Breakfast... More

The hotel staff was rude and talked to us as if we were stupid. Our room is smoke-free but when we walked in a wall of cigarette scent hit us. We told the staff who sprayed it and supposedly put an ionizer in the room. It still smells awful, but the front desk informed me it in fact did not.... More

I apologize for any inconvience you may have experienced during your stay with us. However, I would like to say that I was on duty the night you were here and know for a fact that the ionization unit was placed in the room for an hour. The ionization unit charges the particles in the air and gets rid of... More
