A week or two ago, I needed a hotel in Gloucester Va so I booked at this Hampton Inn even though it was a 30 minute drive from Deltaville, Va where I was visiting that day. I'm very glad that I did. This property is three years old, but looks brand new. The owners are doing a fantastic job of... More

There are only a small number of hotels in Gloucester and this one is pretty new. Only about 5 years old maybe. It's very clean and just off Route 17 behind a Wendy's restaurant. I have only stayed here for work and had a few meetings in their conference rooms. Experience here has always been good. Staff has always been... More

while this facility is a little difficult to find off the road, without a lot of amenities around it, the hotel is pretty new, very clean, and has a good staff. I'll be back! No complaints.

Stopped here for a couple nights while on business. It is what you'd expect from Hampton Inn. Lately I haven't stayed in one that isn't new and the staff friendly. This was no exception. My guess is that it is fairy new. My only suggestion to those planning to stay…look hard for the entrance sign. The hotel is set back... More

Thank you so much for adding your review of the Hampton Inn in Gloucester. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay and we hope that you will return soon. Our sign, which is lighted at night, was the unfortunate victim of a traffic accident recently which completely destroyed it. A replacement is being built and will hopefully arrive... More

We stayed 5 nights in a suite which was great for our family. The most memorable thing were the frogs and toads croaking at night in the stream behind the hotel. They only "sang" for a few nights -- our relatives said they were calling for rain-- so once the rains came, they didn't sing any more. The hotel was... More

We are delighted that you enjoyed your recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Gloucester. Our frogs are one of the secrets that surprise our guests, but really adds to great sleeping and relaxing! We hope that you will return soon and be sure to ask our desk for brochures on some relatively unknown historic attractions within 5 miles of... More

We spent a relaxing night on our vacation at the Hampton Inn Gloucester, VA. This is a new facility and well maintained. The room was nice. But a did lack a refigorator/microwave. Which the newer Hampton Inns do not have. The staff was very helpful. The complamentary breakfast was well stocked. They also had an indoor pool. A nice place... More

Chose this hotel as we were able to use point on a suite. Perfect for our family of 6. Two queen beds and a pull out double sofa. Double size room with a mini fridge, microwave and small kitchinette area. Just worked out excellent for our 3 night stay. Very clean, very new hotel. About 20 miles or so from... More

This Hampton Inn is nicely located for a quiet stay while remaining close to the attractions of Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown, not to mention the lovely town of Gloucester and its sister towns in the area. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and quiet. Since the area is covered with creeks and inlets we got a... More

Having stayed previously at the Williamsburg Hampton Inn Central, we knew what to expect here, and generally speaking, we got it. The same very comfortable bed, and decent sized room, with a pool had we so wished. Breakfast offers good fruit and sticky pastries etc, as well as a curious McDonalds kind of hot offering - typically meat patties and... More

We come to Gloucester every year to visit relatives and go to the Oyster Festival in Urbanna. This is probably the 4th or 5th time we have stayed at this hotel and once again, we enjoyed it. My kids love the pool (though it is a bit overly chlorinated - bring goggles). The breakfast is always plentiful and well stocked... More
